About this ebook

It has been noted that anyone who reads and hears everything written in this book, may result in changes in their understanding, finances, health and anyone around them. This book was not written so you can read and hear about all the miracles God did for me. On the contrary, this book was written solely with the purpose of what God can and will do for you. The instructions written in this book, are not written so you can read and hear about how God answered my prayers, needs and wants. The instructions written in this book are all about how God can and will answer all of your prayers, needs and wants, today, tomorrow and forever. It wasn’t until I took the time to read and hear God’s instructions to make all of this possible and not impossible. In Mat. 19: 26, God’s word says, “With God all things are possible.” And my life has never been the same. If you are not happy with the way your life is going or something has been missing and you can quite put your finger on it. You are closer than you think. Your first step, is this book in your hands and only you can change all of this right now; I can’t do it for You. If you take the time to read and hear what God has in these instructions for you, your life will never be the same.

I Love you in the Lord always

    INTRODUCTION

G reetings to those who are called of God and to His church: grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. In Pro. 5: 21 it says, " For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all of his goings. " The Lord sees you when you go forward or backward or to the left or right: you can run but you can’t hide. As much as I would like to hide, God won’t let me. You see my biggest desire is that it would be Him, not me, in everything you see, feel, and hear in this entire book from cover to cover. In order for you to understand why the Lord would have anything to do with me in the first place concerning this book, I have to tell you a little bit about me. I don’t like it any more than you do, so here goes. . .

In Pro. 5: 23 it says, "He shall die without instruction: and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray. God’s word is talking about you and me here: without the right instruction we shall die. When I first came to the Lord, I was blessed immediately with someone giving me a bible. You see some people when they first get saved they have a lot of questions and no answers. Many don’t own or have a bible, or church to go to; let alone anyone to communicate and have fellowship with. I was right there with the best of them until someone gave me my first bible. With time I found out that all the answers to my questions were in God’s Word. In the beginning on this journey with the Lord, I had asked Him if there was a self-teaching how to book that anyone can read and grow up to be who He wanted them to be. When I read Jn. 15: 5 it said, For without Me ye can do nothing." I knew right then and there, it was Him that I needed to instruct me, not man. For more than ten years God blessed me with His instructions. In doing so, I did something that most people wouldn’t even think of doing.

As I was being instructed by Him, I took notes. Like when certain scriptures jumped out of the page at me, or when the Lord answered a question I had with His Word. The more I read and heard His Word, the more I wanted to know, learn and understand about Him and His promises. So when the Lord had me doing bible studies or preaching to the congregation, I would not do it unless it was Him, not me. So I used the notes that I took with God’s in-structions that He gave me and something incredible happened. . .

You see not only did God’s instructions change the way I was in everything I said and did, but it also changed everyone He had me minister His instructions to. Can you picture what it’s like for someone to hear the truth for the first time? After a bible study one night, I saw someone come right out of their wheelchair and walk out to a vehicle. Without anyone praying for that person. By just being there and hearing what God gave me in His instructions? This was the very thing that this person needed to change and turn their life around. I started seeing changes in everyone, and their growth was miraculous.

They went from talking the walk or saying one thing and doing something else. To walking the talk or did everything they said they would. He gave me the desires of my heart, and showed me that it was Him and not me: for truly I can do nothing without Him. My thirst and hunger for His instructions grew more and more and He revealed unto me, the mysteries of His word in ways I’ve never seen or heard taught anywhere. If you have a real hunger or thirst for God’s instructions and are serious about it, then this book is a must for you. My desire now, is to get these same instructions to you and see how God blesses you.

    God bless you two folds

    HOW TO USE THIS BOOK

    Cover Letter

    God’s Instructions From

    Walk The Talk Ministries

G ood morning. Grace be to you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. In Act. 10: 34 it says, " God is no respecter of persons: It doesn’t matter if you are male or female, big or little, black or white, foreign or domestic, what’s important is your thirst and hunger for God’s instructions, and you have taken the first step. Jesus said it best when He told His disciples, The word ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. " (Jn. 14: 24)

God woke me up in the middle of the night so you can get this message hot off the press. I know without any doubt whatsoever God has done for me and still is, He can do for you. These instructions that God gave me are written in a way to help you grow and walk with the Lord. In Pro. 8: 33 - 34 it says, You need to hear God’s instructions to be wise and blessed. This means when you are reading these instructions you also need to hear them. This will make all the difference in the world in your personal relationship with God.

The more you do it the more you will not want to do without it. If you put God first, He will put you first. When you read this letter and all of God’s instructions out loud, try to be all alone by yourself, because the devil will use anything and anybody to steal God’s instructions away from you. Just like when you plant a seed in the ground you have to allow enough time for it to do its part before it can grow and manifest itself. There is something you must do before you are blessed like I was with these instructions and that is, you must ask the Lord to open your eyes, ears, and understanding, before you go any further with this letter and God’s instructions.

In Jas. 4: 2 it says, "Ye have not, because ye ask not." If you don’t ask, He does not have to do it. I certainly can’t do it for you. The bottom line is how serious are you in having a personal relationship with hearing and seeing Him? Whenever the Lord uses me to do a Bible study or to preach from His pulpit, He has me prepare His people to receive His instructions. He’s telling me right now to prepare you in the same manner. If you’re reading this letter just to hear me, you’re wasting your time and God’s. But if you are reading and hearing God’s instructions to see and hear what God wants to tell and show you, then God will knock your socks off!

In Gal. 6: 7 God’s word says, "For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." In other words, you need to give something to receive something from the Lord when reading and hearing these lessons prepared for you. Each lesson is like a complete meal. You have your appetizers, your soup, your salad, your main course, and your dessert. But some people just go for the appetizers or the dessert not taking the time they should for the main course. Many go to the Lord in different ways, like prayer or going to church. But most have one thing in common; they come to the Lord with their needs and wants. God has needs and wants also. What I am trying to say is, many times without realizing it, we limit God in the way we receive answers to our prayers, needs and wants because we don’t take the time to see and hear what it is He’s trying to tell and show us. I tell people if they came to see and hear me they’re in the wrong place. God knows all your needs and wants, even before you do.

If you want to have a personal relationship with the Lord, you need to be able to give and to receive. When you read and hear each lesson, leave all of your troubles, problems, fears, needs and wants outside the room you’re in. I’ll guarantee they’ll be waiting for you when you come out. Each time I hear and see God’s instructions I get more and more from Him that I can apply and use each and every day. For me it is very exciting when God has me share His instructions with others.

Like in an open Bible study where the Holy Spirit moves miraculously, manifesting Himself in many different ways through others in the room. If we go to the Lord with me, myself and I, where does God fit in? I’m not saying everyone is like this but many don’t know any better limiting answers to their prayers, needs and wants. If you don’t let God get His 10%, how are you ever going to get your 90%? For some of you there may be a lot of things you already know written in these lessons. You should take the time to see and hear those things you don’t know.

Take a sheet of paper and take notes on what God is trying to show and tell you. Always use notes because you never know when God may want to knock some socks off using what He gave you some time down the road. I’m just an anointed vessel of the Lord, used of God, and I may have a funny way of saying and doing things. That is why it is so important for you to make and use your own notes. There are many things I cannot do very well, such as spelling and writing. You can see where this could be a major problem for me especially in writing this letter and all of God’s Instructions to you.

When Moses needed help God sent Aaron to help him. When I needed help, the Lord sent Brother Edwards to help me. He had a special gift from God; he could spell really well and knew a lot about punctuation marks, and all about writing letters. Not only did God bless Brother Edwards by increasing his ability in spelling and writing, God also increased mine. (A two-edged sword.)

By the time Brother Edwards had finished helping me with four lessons and two cover letters, he came to me and said, It was scary at first. Because he was hearing the Lord speak to him, telling him things to come and confirming His Word. That’s when I got excited, because God was manifesting Himself through others with the use of this cover letter and lessons. (Answer to prayer.)

I have devoted an entire page at the end of each lesson for any additional notes you may have. This way every time you read and hear these instructions you will get more out of them.

As you read and hear these lessons, see if you can find what was said, or read that made it possible for someone to hear God’s voice. See if anything you read and hear makes a difference in your life? If you use what God gives you, He will give you more.

As you hear and see His instructions and start using and applying them each and every day in your walk with the Lord your life will never be the same. Amen. . .

I love you in the lord always.

    SECTION TWO:

    GOD’S

    INSTRUCTIONS

    FROM

    WALK THE TALK MINISTRIES

    Lesson 1

    A CHANGE OF FAITH:

J AMES 5: 16a " Confess your faults one to another. and pray one for another, that ye may be he aled."

There are many deferent ways that people choose to confess their faults to one another, but it’s not as Important as to how they deal with it; and that’s where prayer comes in.

JAMES 5: 16b The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avileth much.

Efectual = Producing the effect desired or intended, it must be valid, sound, good or just.

Fervent = Seriousness, earnest, and driving. Are we asking, seeking and knocking? When a prayer comes from our heart it makes all the deference especially if there are two or three in agreement

JAMES 5: 17 - 18 "Eli’as was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: And it rained not of the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, And the heaven gave rain, And the earth brought forth her fruit."

God’s word said that Elijah prayed earnestly or his trust and his faith was unshakable. God hears our prayers, but will He answer them like He did for Elijah?

Let’s see what Elijah did for God to fulfill his prayer shall we?

1 KINGS 17: 1 "And Elijah the Tishbit, who was of the inhabitants of Gil’ead, said unto Ahab,

As the lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word." Or until I say differently; note where Elijah said, (years) he was in it for the long hall. Elijah said, "As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before Whom I stand. Obviously Elijah stood before the Lord; but what about King Ahab? How would this make you feel if you were the King of Israel and someone came up to you and said, It’s not going to rain for years? According to God’s word King Ahab did evil in the sight of the Lord and did more to provoke Him to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him. Elijah means Yahweh is God" a significant name in a time when Baal (sun worship) threatened to extinguish the worship of the Lord God of Israel.

1 KINGS 17: 2 - 3 "And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Che’rith, that is before Jordan."

Cherith = A stream in Gilead, east of Jordan. Do you think the Lord had Elijah hide himself to see if he was who he said he was or to protect him from Ahab the King? Has the Lord ever done something on your behalf to keep you from any trouble?

1 KINGS 17: 4 "And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there."

Sometimes God does things differently than the way we think He’s going to do them. Here God is using ravens or unclean animals to feed Elijah a man of God who was brought up to not touch anything unclean when serving the Lord. Some people think they can serve the Lord by saying one thing and doing something else.

1 KINGS 17: 5 - 7 "So he went and did according unto the word of the Lord: for he went and dwelt by the brook Che’rith, that is before Jordan. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook. And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land."

Elijah did according unto the word of Lord. What do you think would happen if he chose not to? When we choose to do according unto the word of the Lord, it’s not to get what we want, it’s because in Jn. 14: 6 Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me."

If the only way for us and our prayers to get to the Father is by the word of the Lord, then saying one thing and doing something else does not work according to Jn. 17: 17 and 2Timothy 3: 16 – 17.

1 KINGS 17: 8 - 9 "And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, Arise, get thee to Zar’ephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee."

Zarephath = A town on the Mediterranean coast between Tyre and Sidon. Here again Elijah was being tested. Many widows were in Israel in those days, but God sent Elijah unto an unsaved widow woman who was not Jewish and considered unclean to sustain him. According to Acts 10: 34 Peter said, "Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:" (God has people everywhere.)

1 KINGS 17: 10 - 12 "So he arose and went to Zar’ephath. And he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die."

The famine had extended this far north and the widow was preparing her last meal. Do you think the widow woman had a effectual fervent prayer of her own? In Jam. 4: 2 God’s word says, "Ye lust and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not."

Just like Elijah, God waited for the brook to dry up before sending him somewhere else. Was not this widow and her son at the eleventh hour as well? There are times when we do for the Lord and it’s not until the eleventh hour or until we ask, before He makes a way for us as well.

1 KINGS 17: 13 - 16 "And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she and he, and her house, did eat many days, And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which He spoke by Elijah."

Did Elijah use what God gave him? If God can use ravens to feed Elijah, why not an unsaved widow woman to sustain him? She had a place for him to sleep; water to drink along with oil and flour to feed him with. What would you need to be sustained?

1 KINGS 17: 17 - 18 "And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him. And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?"

The mother thought her son had died because of a sin she had committed in her past. But God took the only thing she put first in her life; to change her faith. God will use the very thing that takes our eyes off of Him to see if we are who we say we are.

1 KINGS 17: 19 "And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed."

Elijah had to pry the child out of her arms; do you think she was angry with him and God?

1 KINGS 17: 20 – 21 "And he cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son? And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child’s soul come into him again."

Key note: When you raise someone from the dead you must ask God for their soul to come back into them again.

1 KINGS 17: 22 - 24 "And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived. And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth. And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in thy mouth is truth."

You would have thought an endless barrel of meal and cruse of oil would have changed her faith. Most people seek God when they have a need or want and once God fufills their need or want they forget about Him. It wasn’t enough for her faith to change when God provided food for her, her son, and Elijah. God had to take the only thing that really mattered to her, (her son) so she can get her eyes back onto Him. Not only was her child saved from death, but the truth made her free. (True salvation.)

    New story:

2 Kings 5: 1 - 2 "Now Na’aman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him the Lord had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valor, but he was a leper. And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Na’aman’s wife."

Do you think that God can use this little maid or servant? Remember in Lk. 22: 25 – 26 when Jesus said unto them, "The kings of the gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, Let him be as the younger; and he that is chife, as he that doth serve." To someone who was Jewish a gentile is anyone who was not Jewish and was considered unclean, because their blood was mixed and not pure like them.

2 KINGS 5: 3 - 4 "And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! For He would recover him of his leprosy. And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel."

God can use you no matter where you are; weather you are being fed by unclean animals, being sustained by a widow woman or a servant to a leper. It’s God’s will that is done not mans.

2 KINGS 5: 5 - 7 "And the king of Syria said, Go to, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thou-sand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment. And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have there-with sent Na’aman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy. And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send me to recover a man of his leprosy? Wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me."

In Lk. 12: 34 Jesus said, "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Did the King take for granted what God did for him? There will be times when you may be too busy with me, myself and I and God will come knocking at your door to see if you are who you say you are. Do you think God is trying to change the king of Israel’s faith here?

2 KINGS 5: 8 "And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? Let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel."

Here we see that God is using another gentile to change the faith of the king of Israel and all who followed him. Elisha had a double portion and mantel of Elijah and was a man of God or seer in those days for anyone who sought God.

2 KINGS 5: 9 - 11 "So Na’aman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the house of Elisha. And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. But Na’aman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper."

See how God does things His way and not the way we think He’s going to do it. Now who’s faith is God changing here?

2 KINGS 5: 12 - 13 "Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? May I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away In a rage. And his servants came near, and spoke unto him, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? How much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?"

Again the work of a servant is never done. Sometimes a handycap or illness is used like a crutch to support their cause; here God uses Na’man’s servant to correct him.

2 KINGS 5: 14 - 15 "Then went he down, and down, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel:"

The faith of Na’aman was changed just like the widow woman. Do you think that the faith of the king of Israel had changed because of what God did to the leper? Or do you think that God would have to deal with him like He did with the widow woman.

LUKE 4: 14 - 19 "And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of Him through all the region round about. And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up: and, as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto Him the book of the prophet Esa’ias. And when He opened the book, He found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."

Jesus stoped reading in the middle of Isa. 61: 2 a, since at His first coming He preach-ed only the acceptable year of the Lord. (V. 19) The day of vengeance of our God, Isa. 61: 2 b, was reserved for his second coming. Long suffering and the cross are associated with His first coming. Judgment and a crown are associated with His second coming. Who’s faith is God trying to change now?

LUKE 4: 20 - 23 "And He closed the book, and He gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And all eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on Him. And He began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. And all bare Him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son? And He said unto them, Ye will surely say unto Me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: what soever we have heard done in Caper’naum, do also here in thy country."

This is where Jeaus grew up when He was just a child Was there a change that needed to take place here? When Jesus read and spoke the word of the Lord unto all of them who were there, Did it not make them look onto Him for more? Why were they still looking for a sign? Just like the widow woman, even when God provided her, her son and Elijah with food, water and shelter to sustain them; she still needed a sign for her faith to change

LUKE 4: 24 - 30 "And He said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in His own country. But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Eli’as, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land; But unto none of them was Eli’as sent, save unto Sarep’ta, a city of Si’don, unto a woman that was a widow. And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elise’us the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Na’aman the Syrian. And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, And rose up, and thrust Him out of the city, and led Him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast Him down headlong. But He passing through the midst of them went His way."

Was Jesus comparing them with the two saved gentiles? God’s word helps us to learn from other peoples mistakes, but if we don’t apply and use what He gives us we can make the same mistakes as they did. Without faith how effectual or fervent can our prayers be? Jesus was telling them if the faith of a gentile or unsaved person could be changed; so could their faith be changed. Amen. . .

    PRESONAL NOTES:

    Lesson 2

    WHAT SOWETH YOU?

H OSEA 10: 12 " Sow to yourselves in righteous, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till He come and rain righteousness upon you."

Sow = To scatter seed for growth, to project or teach. The seed that God is talking about here is His word; because the truth shall make you free. (Jn. 8: 32) In Psa. 126: 5 - 6 God’s word says, "They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him." The sheaves we bring with us is the things we did in the past without the Lord; and the cross we bear when we do for Him and not me, myself and I. Sometimes the truth hurts when we don’t want to let go, or stop doing something. We can’t change the things that were done; but we can change the things that are yet to come. In order for good things to happen in our lives we must sow in righteousness and reap in mercy. When we no longer want to do the things we use to do and no longer want to put anything before God such as idols like money, cars, children or anything eles that takes our eyes off of Him; this is a sacrifice He will receive openly because He also weepeth when He is bearing precious seed.

This doesn’t mean we give up our husband, wife or children for God, it means we have to change our priority or what we put first. Will He not do the same for us?

HOSEA 10: 13 "Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men."

In Jer. 7: 23 - 24 God said, "Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be My people: and walk ye in all My ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward. In 1Sam. 15: 22 Samuel said, To obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams;" Jesus, did not follow the crowds, the crowds followed Him. From time to time it looked like He would go out of His way to avoid the crowds.

Let’s look and see, shall we?

PROVERBS 11: 18 "The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward."

If we put something else before God, we’ll end up doing more for it then for Him; and it will end up consuming all of our time and resources trying to hold on to it. Which in turn will only make us go backward, and not forward.

ISAIAH 32: 20 "Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass."

It is interesting how the Ox and the Ass mentined here are the complete opposite of each other; where one (is like a raging river or flowing stream) is strong and easy to work with; and the other (is like a stagnant pond or pool) is stubborn, hard to handle and to maneuver around. In 2 Cor. 9: 6 - 7 the Apostle Paul said, "He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man accoding as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."

Can we limet God in our blessings by not sowing beside all waters? If God is no respecter of persons, (Act. 10: 34) should we not be as He is?

MATTHEW 16: 24 - 26 "Than said Jesus unto His disciples, If any man will come af-ter Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"

In Pro. 11: 19 God’s word says, "As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death. How easy is it to do the right thing when everyone around you is not? This might be why Jesus avoided some of the crowds. In Lk. 5: 15 – 16 God’s word said, But so much the more went there a fame abroad of Him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities. And He withdrew Himself into the wilderness, and prayed."

The more He told them not to do something; the more they did it. In Lk. 6: 12 God’s word said, "And it came to pass in those days He went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. We can’t learn how to sow in righteousness if everyone around us is pursuing evil and not putting Him first. In Mt. 19: 26 Jesus beheld them and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." There are some people who like to sit on the fence with one foot on each side. I Rev. 3: 15 – 16 God’s word said, "I know your works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold nor hot. So then because thou art luke warm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of My mouth." We all need to be on the right side of the fence.

MATTHEW 4: 25 - 5: 3 "And there followed Him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decap’olis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judea, and from be-yond Jordan. And seeing the multitudes, He went up into a mountain: and when He was set, His disciples came unto Him: And He opened His mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

In Lk. 11: 6 – 7 Jesus said, "Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings and not one of them is forgotten of God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. The poor in Spirit are they who can do nothing without Him. (Jn. 15: 5) In Lk. 6: 20 Jesus lifted up His eyes on His disciples, and sais, Blessed be the poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. When it’s no longer about me, myself and I; and it’s all about Him: we become poor in our own spirit and greater in His Holy Spirit. There is only one Spirit we should be listening to. In Jn. 14: 26 Jesus said, The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." At first it may not be easy, because we might be use to doing everything on our own, but now we have a helper and are no longer alone.

MATTHEW 5: 4 "Blessed are they that morn: for they shall be comforted."

When we grieve for others it shows how much compassion or love we have for one another. When we morn or pray onto the Lord, does He not hear us?

MATTHEW 5: 5 "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth."

Meek = Soft, gentle, humble, and submissive. In Isa. 64: 8 God’s word says, "But now, O Lord, Thou art our Father; we are the clay, and Thou our potter; and we all are the work of Thy hand. In Eph. 2: 10 God’s word said, For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." How meek or humble must we all be for us to be the work of His hand?

When someone is willing to see themselves as they really are, it brings out the meekness in them.

MATTHEW 5: 6 "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."

Jesus said, "They shall be filled. not might or maybe. For He had said, in Heb. 13: 5 I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Does this sound like might or maybe to you? In Mt. 6: 33 Jesus said, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Agin, it shall be, not maybe or might be.

MATTHEW 5: 7 "Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy."

In Gal. 6: 6 - 7 God’s word says, "Let him that is taught in word communicate unto Him that teacheth in all good things. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he reap. 1655 Merciful = Compassionate. You might be saying to yourself, How can we give, if we don’t have? In 1Jn. 4: 7 it says, God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. If we give what God gave us. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (Jn. 3: 16) and He will give us more. Who is who so ever?

MATTHEW 5: 8 "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."

If we have nothing to hide, neither will He.

MATTHEW 5: 9 "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God."

In Mt. 7: 12 Jesus said, "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, doye even so to them. In Lk. 6: 27 Jesus said, But I say unto you which hear, Iove your enemies, do good to them which hate you, bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use yu." When we pont our finger at someone, there are three fingers pointing back at us.

In Mt. 7: 5 Jesus said, "First cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye." If we are not able to bring peace or fix what’s wrong with us, then how will we ever bring peace onto others or fix whats wrong with them?

MATTHEW 5: 10 - 12 "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."

In Jn. 15: 20 Jesus said, "The servant is not greater then his Lord. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also." If you are not persecuted for Him, then greater love have they that are; and shall reap accordingly. According to 2 Cor. 4: 9 We may be persecuted; but not forsaken.

MATTHEW 5: 13 "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost His savior, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."

Salt = Preservative. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: fot the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternl. (2 Cor. 4: 18) If we don’t use what God gave us, and we no longer thirst and hunger after righteousness: whatsoever we sow; will be good for nothing.

MATTHEW 5: 14 - 16 "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill can-not be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a can-dlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

In Jn. 9: 5 Jesus said, "As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."

When someone gets saved, people will see the changes in everything they say and do. You will know them by their fruit. (Mt. 7: 16 - 20) When we have Him in us; we no longer do good works to be saved, we do good works because we are saved.

MATTHEW 5: 17 - 20 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

That’s because many of them say one thing and do something else. This is a commandment, in less we do better than the phoney’and the hypocrites that were around when Jesus taught, we’ll end up just like them. (Good for nothing.) In Mt. 23: 2 - 3 Jesus said, "The scribs and Pharisees sit at Moses’ seat; all therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not." Ifyou believe that a fire extinguisher will put out a fire; what good is it when fir breaks out and you don’t use it? In Jas. 2: 18 - 20 He writes, "Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show Me thy faith without works, and I will shew thee My faith by My works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? How does your righteousness exceed? And who has to do it? It’s one thing to know God’s word: and it’s another thing to be a doer of God’s word. In Lk. 8: 18 Jesus said, Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have." If we use God’s word; He will gave us more. (The Holy Ghost) but if we don’t use what He gave us, even that which we have or try to hold onto, shall be taken away from us. (Lk. 19: 26) What God has confessed, He is able to perform. Amen. . .

    PRESONAL NOTES:

    Lesson 3

    WORK’S OF THE HOLY GHOST:

E PHESIANS 1: 12 - 14 " That we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His g lory."

First we trust or hope in Christ, then after hearing and believing God’s word, we become sealed with the Holy Ghost. Why the Holy Ghost and for what porpoise? That’s what this lesson is all about.

Let’s take a closer look, shall we?

JOHN 14: 22 - 23 "Judas saith unto Him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest Thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make our abode with him."

Make our abode = To live in us, as a place of residence or habitation. Although God is too big for any one place to contain or hold all that He is; it doesn’t mean they can’t dwell or live among us.

JOHN 14: 24 - 25 "He that loveth Me not keepeth not My sayings: and the word which ye hear is not Mine, but the Father’s which sent Me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you."

They had Jesus, but not the Holy Ghost. It’s one thing to know God’s word, but it’s another thing to be a doer of God’s word and keep His sayings:

JOHN 14: 26 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

Are there any requirements for us to receive the Holy Ghost? Jesus said, The Father will send the Holy Ghost to those who love Him and keep His sayings.

JOB 36: 5 "Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: He is mighty in strength and wisdom."

In Act. 10: 34 it says, "God is no respecter of persons:" does that mean that He gives everyone the same opportunity to receive or be sealed with the Holy Ghost of promis?

JOB 36: 6 "He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor."

Or anyone who has nowhere to go but God: In Jn. 14: 15 - 17 Jesus said, "If ye love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever; even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him:" A worldly person is someone who says one thing and does something else. They may know God’s word; but they have no intention of keeping it.

JOB 36: 7 "He with draweth not His eyes from the righteous: but with Kings are they on the throne; yea, He doeth establish them for ever, and they are exalted."

The Holy Ghost will abide or stay with us so we may live and not die. God’s not going to leave any righteous, nor will He forsake any who love and keep His word. In Jn. 8 : 31 – 32

Jesus said, "If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." We are no longer limited or held back, "For with God all things are possible." (Mk. 10: 27)

JOB 36: 8 - 10 "And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction; Then He sheweth them their transgressions that they have exceeded. He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity."

One of the jobs given to the Holy Ghost is to awaken and convince sinners. If we belong to God, He will discipline or punish us just like a parent or guardian would, so that we can return from iniquity, or stop doing whatsoever it is that’s making us sin; so we may live and not die. The faster we let go and stop doing those things we use to do that was not of God; the easier our transformation will be from fruit to much fruit.

    JOB 36: 11 - 12
