About this ebook

The story of the God-Man continues to be told and written century after century, never ceasing to be wondrous, always confirming our faith. Why the Son of God should have consented to become one of us and undergo so horrific a death to save us is beyond our comprehension. How could he love so unconditionally we who can be so unlovable? No one in history has brought such hope for ourselves as he who by his life and death taught us the true meaning of love.

With the blessing of our Lady, actual events were written from a different perspective in an attempt to touch the surface of his existence before us and with us. If this glimpse into his life and that of his family draws us closer to them, its purpose will have been fulfilled.

    Archangel with mighty wings,

    You sweep across the sky,

    And banish inclement weather

    From your pinnacle on high.

    You overcome the wicked one

Who keeps earth in his grasp,

    And guard all the innocent

Who reach your hand to clasp.

    Protect us against all violence,

Guide us as we work and play,

    Preserve us from malicious ones,

In sleep, watch us and pray.

We thank the God who made you

As you give him the praise due,

And lead us to that Paradise

Which awaits those who are true.

    TURMOIL IN HEAVEN

Before the beginning, when darkness covered the abyss, the Word and Spirit were with God as he brought his angels into being. Pure spirits of unsurpassed beauty he made them, with free will, strength, intelligence, and swiftness, their magnificent wings setting them apart from the earthly creatures to come.

He created them little and great, a certain number, no more and no less than the vastness of the heavens. Each was given a name and Lucifer was the brightest of them all. They were assigned special tasks as ministers to him, messengers, and guardians of the humans, animals, and earth to be, able to take any form, appear anywhere instantly, forever singing his praises and thanking him, glorifying and serving him faithfully, basking in his beauty, reflecting his goodness, and always gazing at his Face.
