Introduction:
The first year of your baby’s life is incredible, as you marvel in all the developmental milestones that they achieve. It is beautiful watching your little one as they learn to pick up their head, then crawl, and start to explore the world around them. Something you must consider as they age, however, is the right time to start potty training.
Toilet training can be separated into two separate approaches. The first is the ‘wait-for-your-toddler-to-be-ready’ approach, which is generally a lot longer than early potty training. The second is teaching your kid when you believe they are developmentally ready. There are numerous advantages to this, including an easier and quicker training process (because your child has not yet developed bad habits like stubbornness or getting used to the feeling of pee or poop in their diaper), a higher level of self-esteem and independence for your child, and less money spent on diapers over your child’s lifetime.
Once you realize that the best method is to get your child ready for potty training, instead of waiting for them to be ready, the next step is to read through the pages of this book. If you are a busy parent, this 2-day method is ideal. You can choose to potty train your toddler in a single weekend, rather than needing to find the time to stretch it over three days, as is common with the 3-day method.
In this book, you are going to learn how to prepare yourself (and your little one) for toddler potty training. You will learn what to buy beforehand, the best methods of convincing your son or daughter to climb onto the potty, and how to reward them, to make sure that using the toilet becomes a habit.
For parents who have spoken to others about potty training, heard horror stories or developed struggles of their own, skepticism might be at the front of their minds when they hear that the toddler
