    Note from the author

Imagine for a moment you and I are coworkers. We work in the same office building, and there’s a common area where people go to take breaks and eat lunch. One day, I come into the common area, see a chair next to you, and ask if I may sit down. We strike up a conversation and talk about which departments we work in and how long we’ve been with the company. I say, You know, I’m very grateful to be back at work. I was out sick for a while. I had an incurable disease that got progressively worse to the point I couldn’t walk or talk. I was completely bedridden. My family heard about a new medicine the Food and Drug Administration was testing, and because it wasn’t covered by my insurance, they raised the money to cover the cost. The medicine worked, and now I’m totally cured!

Now, if this had really happened, I’m certain you wouldn’t think I was pushing my beliefs on you or trying to shove something down your throat. You wouldn’t be offended or angry. On the contrary, you’d be excited for me and happy I no longer had an incurable disease! And it’s because I was simply telling you my story. I was sharing with you, in an empathetic way, about something that happened to me.

"Im simply telling you my story and sharing the biblical principles and compelling evidence that have shaped my beliefs."

In the same way, I’m not trying to push my beliefs on you through this book. I’m simply telling you my story and sharing the biblical principles and compelling evidence that have shaped my beliefs. We all have the free will to make our own decisions. I respect your right to believe differently, and I hope as you read this book, you’ll give me the same consideration.

In the following pages, I’m going to share what I believe
