About this ebook
"Truth is not a destination - it is not a point in the future which you reach through discipline and efforts. Truth is the path itself you walk on everyday, driven by unbiased, naive curiosity for knowing - not believing, but knowing."
Abhijit Naskar is the idea of one humanity that has become a mirror for all humans to see themselves without prejudices, without biases, without the conformities of the society. Over and over again, Naskar has stated that liberty is his religion, and the humans are his god. In this book, he takes us on the journey of understanding this liberty with a naive eye. He profoundly proclaims that this ultimate liberty is not attained through a certain ideology or a label of intellectualism - in fact, it is not something to be attained at all, rather it is manifested within ourselves. Naskar reminds us, that this liberty is the gateway to a truly harmonious and peaceful world where there can be no war or any conflict whatsoever, either internal or external. In this liberty humanity discovers the truth that it so obsessively seeks in various ideologies. The book takes a deep dive into the ocean of liberty and enables us to investigate the fundamental question of human existence - what is truth?

INTRODUCTION
We are about to begin a journey - a journey of investigation. And it is not going to be a one-sided journey, where I utter a bunch of sophisticated words and you obey them like a blind sheep. Rather, you and me are the two pedestrians of this path, that we are going to take into the fundamental question of truth. We are going to look at this whole problem of truth with naive eyes, that of a child.
We cannot solve an old problem with old solutions - we cannot solve an ancient issue with traditional methods. All those methods that traditions have passed on to us, you, me, each one us, have to disappear for the time being, until we sort this whole problem of truth out, by ourselves, not with the help of a teacher, or any kind of authority. I am not your authority. You are your own authority. I am just another human, like you - I drink water, I eat food, I listen to music, I love my partner and so on.
You and me are the same here - we contain the same spirit of curiosity - so, let that curiosity guide us. Yes we will make mistakes, yes we will sometimes go off course - but the point is, there is no wrong course in the investigation of truth - every course taken with the pure drive for curiosity will inadvertently take us in the right path of truth.
But one thing I must clear here, since I just mentioned the phrase - the path of truth. Here, what you need to know is, truth is not a destination - it is not a point in the future which you reach through discipline and efforts. Truth is the path itself you walk on every day, driven by unbiased, naïve, curiosity for knowing - not believing, but knowing. One needs to believe something when one does not know. Truth cannot dwindle in thin air between belief and disbelief - truth exists only in knowing.
For this purpose, you must first throw away all your preconceived conformities and ideas of the world and its issues. Get rid of any conclusion about any phenomenon that you foster within you. We are not here to conclude anything - we are here today to inquire into the fundamental nature of truth. And to inquire, conclusions are an impediment. If your cup of perception is already full with all sorts of sociologically imposed garbage, then no real insight can manifest within you.
Insight cannot be handed over to you, by any superficial self-proclaimed authority. Insight is gained through one's own attention - attention without judgement and more importantly, without any predominant conclusions. For example, theism is a conclusion, so is atheism - none of these two conclusions is the product of serious investigation - one is born from the human's primitive urge to
