Introduction
Let me tell you a story... Years ago, I changed my job from one that was more physically active to a sedentary one. You may imagine what happened in a matter of a few weeks. You guessed... I started putting on weight. At first, the change was almost imperceptible, but as weeks went by, my figure was starting to be a problem for me. Instead of going on a drastic diet though, which I knew I could not stick to, I did some research and discovered all the foods that help us lose weight. I decided to have a salad once a day (usually at lunch) instead of a ‘traditional’ meal (or even a sandwich, which, because it is wheat based, actually makes our bellies swell). That meant that I didn’t suffer too much; I wasn’t hungry. Did I lose weight? You can bet I did!
