Do You Want To Learn How To Save Time And Money In The Kitchen And Lose Weight At The Same Time?

In the past, convenience food typically meant food that was high in fat and sugar and low in nutrition. Fast food is designed to taste good – fat and sugar make food taste good, so it makes sense that these foods are loaded with it.

We know that fast food and frozen dinners are bad options when it comes to keeping healthy and losing weight, but let’s be honest here: if you’re getting home late after a really tough day at the office, nuking a frozen meal or ordering takeout is a lot easier than preparing a meal from scratch.

It’s clear that we need to ditch the fast food habit, but the thought of having to slave over a hot stove after a long day at the office is not appealing either. So what’s the solution? How do you save time and money and still get to eat healthy, tasty food every day?

The answer is simple: Meal Prepping. By setting aside time to prepare your meals for the coming days or weeks, you can save time and effort. You can streamline the entire process of shopping for groceries and cooking and actually reduce the amount of time you need to spend in the kitchen.

Meal prepping is easy and makes sense, but where do you start? How do you make the process painless? The answers to these questions – and more – can be found in this guide! We provide you with all the information you need to start you on your meal prepping journey. We explain exactly how it works and provide you with simple, great-tasting, healthy recipes to get you started. You’ll be able to rustle up something great to eat in a few short minutes, no matter how late you get home.

Meal Prep - Jamie Connor

Are you trying to lose weight or tone your body but you just can’t seem to pass up that cheeseburger for lunch every day? Do you stress over what to cook for dinner each night? Do you find yourself throwing away food that never got eaten and went bad at the end of the week? How can you lose fat, take the stress out of making meals, and avoid food waste all at the same time? The answer is meal prep.

Meal prep is the practice of planning and preparing meals ahead of time, often in bulk, to save time and money and to help stick with healthy eating habits. It is easier (and more fun) than you might think, but there are some things you need to know before you can start. In addition to getting some guidance on recipes, you need to set goals, understand how to meal plan, learn a bit about nutrients and how to balance them, gain knowledge and practice in dealing with cravings, and find out how to avoid common mistakes. The good news is that you can find all that information right in this book!

After reading this book, you will not only be able to cook 48 healthy, new recipes – 12 breakfasts, 12 lunches, 12 dinners, and 12 snacks – but you will also be able to find other recipes that cater to your tastes. You will learn how to look for macronutrient balance in your meals and how to ensure that you are receiving the correct nutrition. You will find out not only how to meal prep but the why of meal prepping – the benefits and intent of it. You will learn to set goals and to shop with a purpose so that your pantry is well-stocked, but none of your food goes bad. You will save money and be more time-efficient in your meal planning and preparation. You will find out how to kick cravings to the curb with healthy eating habits that leave you feeling more than satisfied.

So, come on, let’s dive in! A healthier, happier, thriftier you is waiting!

Chapter One: Why Meal Prep?

Before we discuss how to meal prep, it is important to know why you want to meal prep. It is well known that starting something without a goal will doom you to failure because you don’t know what you are aiming for. Therefore, let us look at some goals you might have for meal prepping as well as some other benefits that might come along with achieving these goals.

Goals Of Meal Prep

The primary goals of meal prep are six-fold, and you might or might not have these goals as part of your unique reasoning for meal prepping. These goals are: weight loss, fat loss, building muscle, saving money, saving time, and having less food waste. Let us discuss these more in depth.

Weight Loss – If you are looking to lose weight, meal prep is perfect for you. It helps you plan your calories ahead of time – and stick to them! You will find that, if you cook a delectable meal ahead of time and discipline yourself a little bit, you can hold off that cheeseburger craving and stick to the meal you have prepared. This will also help you balance the nutrients you need to make sure you are getting the correct ratios of macronutrients (and even micronutrients).

Fat Loss – This is a type of weight loss that particularly targets the fatty regions of the body. You can accomplish this by meal prepping and adding an exercise routine. Meal prep will help you with your exercise routine, as preparing for the week will put you in a better mental state to prepare for exercise for the week.

Building Muscle – If your goal is to build muscle, you will need not only to exercise your muscles, but you must also eat a good amount of protein and other nutrients. Choosing and preparing your meals ahead of time can significantly increase the likelihood that you are getting the right amounts of nutrients. It will be easier to calculate the nutritional value of a meal when you are sitting down to prepare it than on the fly if you go out to eat at a restaurant.

Save Money – Meal prep will help you save money, and the best part is, you can see this from day one of meal prep. Instead of buying a $7 to $10 meal from a fast food restaurant or an even more expensive meal from a sit-down restaurant, you can easily make a meal for less than $5, or even less than $3. Additionally, you will know exactly what you need going into the grocery store so that you won’t waste money on food that you don’t need (and that would ruin your diet).

Save Time – You can save time by meal prepping, too. While at first, it might seem like a lot of work to spend two to three hours preparing food for the week, you will find that your week runs more smoothly. You will come to enjoy your meal prep time and look forward to the process. You will also enjoy all the time you free up during the week that you would normally spend preparing meals.

Less Food Waste – With meal prep, you will know exactly how much food to buy at the store and how

Does not provide a step by step guide on how to prep multiple meals at once, just provides separate recipes- you need to work out how to cook efficiently yourself
