DEDICATION
To all the unstoppable youngsters whose principle of achievement is simple; give it your best shot, or go home. Every ambitious person must read this masterpiece.
FOR ALL PEOPLE WHO WANT RESULTS, THE RULE OF THUMB FOR BEING UNSTOPPABLE IS SIMPLE: SET HIGH STANDARD GOALS; BE THE BEST OR BE NOTHING. NO INBETWEENS.
This book is in binary form, meaning it holds two states: 0 or 1. It is either you read it (1), or you don’t (0). If you don’t read it, lucky you! If you read it, be warned it is addictive!
Warm Up!
It doesn’t matter where you come from, how you were raised, whether you are considered legitimate or illegitimate, all I know is by a mere fact of living, right where you are, you want to do something for yourself, your country and the world at large. Change is radial. Live your life in such a way either you write a book or your life is worth writing about!
Passionate people create, they don’t compete. If there is any need for them to compete, then they compete with the goals they set themselves.
The world out there does not want what you can do; anyone can do something. The world out there wants what you have done. Successful people give results, unsuccessful people give excuses. The choice is yours.
The most important way to judge the quality of a book is if, when you are reading it, you find it is also reading you; action-reaction. Rest assured this book will read you.

Infinite thanks are in order.
Mr Thabiso Piti, thank you for making this book possible. Lesotho is yet to become the role model of the world!
About the Author
Where has this guy always been? Maybe indeed he is a sniper. Emanating from the humble beginnings and remote parts of Maseru, Khokhotsaneng, on the outskirts of Roma, Takatso Kumi is a maths and physics educator by profession, a passionate and creative thinker who possesses one of the rare minds of the 21st century generation. He is a National University of Lesotho graduate and maybe through him, the current and future generations shall re-evaluate their plans of giving up due to the current systems that intentionally choke their dreams. He has the best recipe for seeing the opportunities encapsulated within the seemingly tough socio-economic dilemma of Lesotho by redirecting the reader’s attention to the faculty above his/her neck, the mind. Our success lies on the far side of our depression. He has had an opportunity to work with one of the recognised motivational speakers in Lesotho, Mr Mohau Mosoeunyane, whose network is very rich.
Foreword
by Professor Himanshu Narayan:
National University of Lesotho (NUL)
A few months back, I met Takatso at a Science, Technology & Innovation Exposition organised by the faculty of Science & Technology of NUL. He was still a student in the classical mechanics course I was teaching around that time. I still recall how enthusiastically he told me about his new book! I immediately requested him to send me a copy and he obliged. Now, after all these months have gone by, following discussions and having read the book, I can say it was only appropriate to meet him on that particular day – no other occasion could have been more fitting to know about this book than the day of the NUL Expo.
This is a book about positivity. The motives become clear in the very first chapter: Basotho youths no longer want to tread the same paths that have been walked and followed by many generations. They want to believe they can and they will, bring about change.
The author’s understanding of the current situation is very much evident. Many important issues have been raised right from the beginning: the general inertia against any change, lethargy in converting thoughts into action, and the inadequacy of the current education system have all been invoked. And they set the tone.
Some time ago, in a discussion with some friends, I said, There are more positives in life than negatives, for otherwise the world would have vanished a long time back.
I am a die-hard optimist and therefore it wasn’t difficult for me to relate when the author talked about a ‘natural code’ that guides everything in the right direction. I do believe in one myself.
In many places, the author’s links with physics become evident. ‘No work is done when no distance is covered no matter how heavy the load is’ and ‘there are an infinite number of paths one can take to move from one point to another’. These words, even though they are a by-product of the knowledge of physics, are not brutally scientific. They sound like ‘oh! I knew it already’, and therefore are very easily swallowed. The reader, therefore, becomes curious about this new approach.
Then the author makes a point about ‘everyone being the same, down at the level of [the] skeleton’, but there certainly is uniqueness and an individuality that is so important to each one of us. Be it a rare skill or one’s intelligence, there are avenues to convert this uniqueness into fortunes. At times, the author demonstrates signs of a motivational speaker or a soothsayer. And that is good. At other times, he challenges the readers to come out of their comfort zones. His thoughts on money and poverty are matured and thought-provoking. He gives a number of anecdotal examples, many of them taken from the lives, philosophies, habits and work of people he has interacted with over the years. Then he cites many inspirational quotes to prove his points. Finally, he inserts a couple of beautiful poems, and some sections that are apparently interactive. All of this makes the book an interesting read at the end of the day.
I always had glimpses of the passion Takatso has for physics, science, knowledge, and for life in general. He always showed a very keen interest in my research works. Now I can clearly see what is going on in his mind: He doesn’t want to slump under the anxiety of being distinctive, because ‘fear of being different compels one to be like everyone’. He is already quite different from the rest of the lot. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours and look forward to reading another work from him very soon.
Enjoy the ride!
Chapter 0
The Motive Behind this Book
No one can stop an idea when its time has come.
In this era, it is no longer the length of time you take to do something that determines how good you are in that thing. The current generation will surprise you in that passion makes it solve the world’s riddles in no time, perfectly. The old stories of ‘You know what, it took me 20 years working on this to make it perfect’ are becoming obsolete. Lesotho is pregnant with a new transcendental generation whose touch of genius will set everything in a ceaseless motion. We have evolved into a generation that does things in a certain way. Those who are planning to destroy us will not sleep until they have done it, so why should we? Our success is just a razor blade away!
WARNING!!! DO NOT READ THIS BOOK. IT IS ADDICTIVE!!
The philosophy of The Unstoppable Youngsters is based on an idea that it is the birthright of everyone to have a share of the boundless riches in each individual’s brain. It is based on the original thoughts of Basotho who are saying and doing things in a certain way. Each one of them has his/her own motive behind his/her desire to make a radially inside-out change here in Lesotho, a change that originates from a common centre – Lesotho, not just anywhere. This philosophy is a fundamental principle through which the writer here wants to give well substantiated and original information that it is possible for Lesotho to be the role model of the world. It is with this the writer wants to revolutionise Lesotho by laying down a clearly-defined discourse of why Basotho should abandon their mentality of poverty and engage in an abundance mentality. The poor think and act like the poor. The rich think and act like the rich. Change your thinking and you change your life.
It is through this masterpiece we shall have access to assessing the mental wealth of Basotho and then we will know how many millionaire and billionaire minds we currently have and we will be sure we create our own future self-made millionaires because we will have more applied knowledge. Everyone is a millionaire hiding behind excuses.
If each member of society can have this book, its intended purpose will surely be hastened. The intention is to create an intelligent society. Anyone who will lead this nation in the future must be prepared to be intelligent. You can’t lead authentic minds (of the society) with a mediocre mind because you will feel threatened as authenticity is a threat to ignorant/mediocre leaders who are suffering from knowledge satiation syndrome. If you think learning has a limit, this book is not for you. Often when you think you are done with something, it is actually the beginning. There is no limit to how much knowledge you can acquire. We are at the beginning of a knowledge-based generation where having knowledge and the ability to apply it are the epitome of immense success. So I dare you not to quit. It’s too early. Learn how to find the seeds of success buried in this situation.
The writer here is one of the passionate readers, an open lifelong learner, a tester of principles and a philosopher at heart because philosophy changes human perception and perspective, and when the two are changed, a new generation is born.
It is a well-noted principle that being poor or rich is a choice. How can you in these days motivate young people to go to school so they will be successful when there actually are countless schooled people who can’t live a great life and there are more unschooled people who are lawfully and materially rich?
This question has to get you thinking. It is truly meant to challenge you to think beyond your comfort zone. For me as a teacher, I deem it a violation of one’s own natural rights if any human systematic art of mind manipulation may cause one to fail to have the abundance nature has in store for each one of us. For indeed, we can see in Lesotho that wealth is something one has to be ashamed of, whereas poverty is truly something one has to be proud of. The clear mark of this is Lesotho is so proud of poverty she survives on donations from other countries.
The question still remains: ‘If schools are meant to transform pupils into proficient elites who can better their own countries, why is Lesotho still financing education which seems to do the opposite?’ (The writer has enquired of certain economics students and people of interest). Why do we go to school when we are not becoming educated?
School should achieve a different meaning that is based on the natural code of what acquisition and implementation of knowledge are. We need to have more academies and highly passion-orientated schools on top of the current system; their focus should be on implementation. Our schools and service provision must be rated globally and this can only be so if we shift from theory to application. If you go to school, make sure you attain knowledge you can apply, otherwise, don’t waste your time. Find a life coach to help you live an authentic life.
There are more certificated people who cannot use their minds because they are not educated, and less educated people who use the gist of their mental power to transform Lesotho into an above-par nation economically. Unfortunately, these people are not the certificated ones.
