David Haugh: When will John Fox realize playing Mitch Trubisky could improve his job security?

Out of habit, Bears coach John Fox hems and haws whenever the topic of Mitch Trubisky starting at quarterback comes up.

This isn't another criticism of Fox's media subterfuge. Everybody gets the awkwardness of the situation the Bears created for themselves by moving up to draft Trubisky second overall one month after guaranteeing veteran free-agent Mike Glennon $18.5 million. Trubisky complicated matters Thursday by looking so polished in his NFL debut while Glennon _ with his 0.0 rating _ reminded Chicago he has thrown 11 passes since 2014.
