    Vegan - Dexter Jackson

    Introduction

Congratulations on downloading The Essential Vegan Cookbook: 31 Delicious Vegan Meals, and thank you for doing so. After a table of contents like that: what else is there to say except to dive right into these delicious recipes and see which one to try first. Their listings are merely random because each is equally yummy!

The following chapters will discuss many different types of Vegan recipes, but you will notice the mention of tamari and soy sauce sometimes interchangeably. This is the scoop. They are not the same!

Soy sauce contains wheat and is not gluten-free, and is used widely throughout Asia. On the other hand, tamari is considered a ‘wider class’ of the soy sauces which is known by more Japanese forms of soy sauce. It is made with very little or no wheat.

You will notice references of divided throughout many of these recipes. This simply means you are using that much in one or more places. For example, if the recipe is one teaspoon divided; it could mean ½ teaspoon in step one and ½ teaspoon in step two.

There are plenty of books on this subject on the market, thanks again for choosing this one! Every effort was made to ensure it is full of as much useful information as possible; please enjoy!
