Write it Now. Book 5 - On Chapters: Write Your Novel or Memoir. A Series Guide For Beginners, #5
()
About this ebook
This little book number 5 is about chapters and the importance of their place and their structure in your book.
If you have outlined as in Book 1 of this series, you will now have Chapter Summaries. They are wonderful; the best tool you will ever have. Chapter Summaries are like a map. They are the map that will take you from the beginning of your journey to the very end.
The writer is like a travel guide. It is important that you take your readers on a journey without getting them lost along the way. If you know where you are going, your reader will appreciate and enjoy the journey.
As you write, each chapter creates an important link in the story. Each chapter leads your reader on to the next. Each chapter should end with something that makes the reader want to move on to the next. And then the next chapter begins with interest and so the story moves forward.
This little book 5 will talk in depth about chapters and chapter skills. I hope it helps the beginning writer to create ongoing interest in their story.

This fifth book in this Series is about chapters and nothing else. But it contains an often-overlooked secret tool for writers.
Outlining your chapters is your most useful tool for writing your book. Of course writing your outline from which your chapters come if vitally important. But identifying your chapters and then writing a brief outline for each will be well worth your effort. This is the tool that will help you move forward once you start your first draft.
It is common for new writers to become lost or to lose momentum. Your list of chapter summaries will largely overcome this problem It will be your guide. It is your map to where you are going from one writing session to the next.
CHAPTER 1 — ABOUT CHAPTERS
New writers have a lot of questions about chapters — so here are some specific questions and answers.
What is a chapter?
A chapter is simply a way of breaking up a book. If you are writing a non-fiction, or more specifically a ‘how-to’ book, your book will be sectioned by breaking it into chapters about the various topics that you want to cover.
If you are writing a memoir or an autobiography, there are all sorts of ways to section your book. For example, it could be by years when events happened, or
