    Conjunction is a word or group of words used to connect other words or groups of words. It can be used to join words like pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and prepositions. It is in this lucid manner that this book will teach you conjunctions. It clearly explains the types of conjunction. They are coordinating conjunction, correlative conjunction, subordinating conjunction and conjunctive adverb. It clearly explains the coordinating conjunction. Coordinating conjunction joins sentence elements which are of equal rank. There are three major coordinating conjunctions. They are and, but, or. It analyzes the correlative conjunction. Correlative conjunction joins sentence elements of equal rank but comes in pairs. They include both...and, as...as, not only...but also, either...or, neither...nor, whether...or. It appraises the subordinating conjunction. Subordinating conjunction is used to join sentence elements of unequal rank. Subordinating conjunction connects a dependent clause to an independent clause. It evaluates the conjunctive adverb. Conjunctive adverb joins not only sentence elements of unequal rank but also serves as a transition marker. It discusses the correct ways to use conjunctions. It is used to express an additional idea or notion, to indicate an alternative, to make a concession, to present a contrast, to indicate a continuing action, to indicate a requirement to be met, to show an unalterable condition, and to connect another view in a subsequent clause. It points out the common mistakes in the use of conjunctions. It throws light on the correct use of conjunctions. And it contains many crucial questions designed to enable you master how to use conjunctions correctly.
