About this ebook
Be it that we're dealing with one of the vigorous Tales of the ancient Greeks, or one of the enlightening Sagas of the Middle or Far East, or one of the exemplary Allegories of the Holy Bible, the Koran or the Mayan Popol Vuh, or one of the gallant Legends of the Middle Ages, the adventure of the Story's Main Character always conforms to a similar pattern.
Most of these heroic feats consists of four stages: (1) A Call that requests the Main Character to leave his or her everyday life, (2) A Journey toward the central Objective of the Saga, (3) After attaining the Goal, comes the Return of the Hero to his or her known world, and finally, (4) A Display and Good Usage of the earned Trophy.
Each Legend can highlight any of the above described stages, emphasizing it so much that it would seem to be the main theme of the Story. Or, it could leave out one or more of those parts. These variations make the Tales seem different from one another. It's what gives each one its particular "flavor."
In this book, I set forth the parallelism found between most Legends and the Astronical Cycle. This uncanny similarity leads me to suggest that Mankind's advance throughout the ages follows the events activated by the forces of the Astronical Cycles. And that the action of these forces, in lack of a better explanation, have been "dressed-up" and converted into the colorful adventures that make up our most famous Stories.
Don't be surprised if you identify yourself with the Main Character of this book.

IN ENGLISH - (EN ESPAÑOL, MÁS ABAJO)I'm sort of a three-way hybrid. My family upbringing was definitely European (Belgian), my early teen-age years were enjoyably influenced by the American way of life (Glendale, California), at the beginning of the Rock 'n Roll era (anybody remember?), and the rest of my life exposed me to the fast-paced Latin American culture (Venezuela and the Caribbean islands). This gave me the order and discipline of the European, the modern vision and progressive imagination of an American, and the animated soul of a Latino.By trade, I'm a Computer Systems Engineer, who specialized in setting up systems for large, high-rise hotels in Latin America. For the past 29+ years, after investigating many fields and debunking a lot of information, I've been designing a system that I named ASTRONICA (very little in common with classic Astrology). In short, it's a technique that anyone can use to (1) get to know their true inborn attributes, qualities and skills, and (2) to determine the ongoing conditions (exocauses) that inevitably influence us and our environment, at any given time or place. You can test the efficiency of Astronica for yourself, by visiting the Astronica website (www.astronica.org, in Spanish or English - online since 1997). Try out any of the free and user-friendly apps that you'll find there—they're all based on astronical algorithms, handled by AI. You can go there either with a desk PC or a laptop. But if you're mostly on the go, feel free to use a smartphone or a tablet. No registration, no cost, no hype. After retiring from the Hotel/Computer business, and after having put together the Astronica system, I began to write in two different fields: fiction and non-fiction. In the non-fiction section, I've written several books about Astronica (e.g., The Astronica Handbook, The Cyclegram, Dynamy and Polarity, The Cosmic Tree and The Hidden Circle). My writings in the fiction section usually include characters who live in the imperceptible "threshold area" that's between our every-day reality and the rest of the Multiverse (e.g., Imo, The Keepian and an ultra-short story, Nothing Speaks). I like to call this genre MetaFiction: the Reality that lies beyond reality.Currently, I live in Caracas, Venezuela and work every day on the Internet, to expand and further hone the Astronical resources. Now and then, when my Muse nudges me, I take another shot at story writing, so feel free to look me up.EN ESPAÑOLSoy una especie de híbrido triple.

Introduction
Be it one of the vigorous tales of the ancient Greeks, or one of the enlightening sagas of the Middle or Far East, or one of the exemplary allegories of the Holy Bible, the Koran or the Mayan Popol Vuh, or one of the gallant legends of the Middle Ages, the adventure lived by the story’s Main Character always conforms to a similar pattern.
Below you will find the sections that usually constitute these tales:
The Initial Call
Many times the Initial Call demands that the Protagonist leaves behind the lifestyle of his youth, to then begin the Great Adventure of finding out who he really is. Strange as it may seem, it’s at this point where many people, perhaps most of them, try to elude the Call made by their own destiny.
Usually, the decision to accept the Call is a tough one for it involves letting go of the apparent—but very convincing—security of the known surroundings, to then move, with courage and faith, into an unknown and unexplored world. It’s an act that would seem to invite the Hero to jump into emptiness without a safety net.
Still, it’s the only way to begin the Journey that’ll lead him to the much-desired Prize: the way of life that by legitimate heritage belongs to him.
Sometimes the change of life will seem to imply that the individual must die
regarding his former way of living, to then revive
or be reborn
when he assumes his true lifestyle. This happens when the thoughts, ideals and emotional patterns of a former standard of living are to be outgrown, when the circumstances of a normal
life must be surpassed by
