About this ebook

John C. Fenn (Church Without Walls International) says: Without exaggeration I can say "Women in Ministry" is a must have on anyone's bookshelf or e-book collection! It is a quick and easy read about women in ministry that pulls scripture, culture, and history together in one place where it suddenly all makes sense. I especially like how Ank details verses which show husband and wife teams who worked with Paul and the role of many other women in ministry.

Many books on this subject leave out the full and balanced view of scripture to better fit their agenda. For such a short book it is amazingly comprehensive and Ank makes many excellent points I've never seen in print before. It will give the reader an accurate understanding and is easily shared with others. "What About: Women in Ministry?" answers questions in its few pages that larger books never address!

Ank Kleinmeulman lives with her husband, Wil, in Houten, the Netherlands. They have five children and eight grandchildren, all of them loving and serving the Lord. Ank loves to teach people the Word of God. She attended a Domata Bible School and started a Saturday Bible School in her hometown and has done so for many years. She was also involved with Women Aglow for six years.Ank’s favorite song is “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus.” The lyrics in that song, “No turning back, no turning back” describe her life. In 2004 the Lord connected them to John Fenn and Church Without Walls International (CWOWI). They started a house church which began in their own home, and from there it grew into a network throughout the Netherlands and Europe. Each year they host an international conference for CWOWI leaders and those interested in relationship-based faith. Together they travel throughout Europe, building relationships and helping people and house churches through Godly relationships and the discipleship process.Ank likes decorating her home and has added many unique and classy touches to the décor of their home while Wil is always willing to paint the walls a different color! Her real passion and heart is to teach and see people changed by the power of God’s Word. That, she says, is what her life is all about!

    Introduction

Multiplied thousands of women today are alive in Jesus, but still tied up by human traditions and lies of the devil: traditions which portray them as second-class citizens and cultural ideas which tell them they cannot carry out and obey the call of God.

The Word and the Spirit agree, so if we see a truth in the Word and the Holy Spirit is doing the same thing in the whole world, we know that it is God. In this book I will give you an overview of what the Bible says and what Paul thought about women. We will also look at what Jesus did to release women and what the Holy Spirit has done in periods of revival and is still doing around the world today.

This book is not an extensive study about women, the role of women in church and if they can or cannot lead or serve in ministry, but it is easy to read and is a great tool to give to others who are struggling with this topic. My prayer is that it will answer many questions, give hope to women and empower women to be who God made them!

    Should Women Be in Ministry?

What does the Bible say about that and what did Paul really believe? Before I answer that question, I will tell you a little bit about myself and my journey.

I grew up in a Christian family. My mother was born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and she told me and my sister about the Lord when we were very young. My father knew the Lord, but was hurt in his life by a lot of people—many of them were Christians—and he had a hard time trusting and walking with the Lord and Father. However, at the end of his life he opened up his heart and both of my parents are in heaven now!
