Broken for Service: 31 Daily Devotional Reflections for Child Development Professionals
()
About this ebook
This devotional book is an invaluable resource for teachers, child development professionals, volunteers in children’s ministries, children’s ministries workers, children pastors / directors and others who are interested in the development of and being advocates for children.
These devotions will encourage you to maintain or start your relationship with Jesus Christ and serve Him by serving children. The author draws upon practical examples from the Bible as she covers areas of brokenness as: The broken rock at Horeb; the broken alabaster jar; the broken body of Jesus; the broken spirit of David; the broken loaves; the broken tombs.
The author believes that God is breaking her ideals and is replacing them with God-visions, lest the people perish. The devotions are simple yet profound, practical, but deeply spiritual. They will inspire and enrich your life in a very awesome way!

TESTIMONIALS
This devotional is very easy to read, practical and presents to us powerful, biblical truths. I encourage every parent to read it and be empowered to give God their very best in serving Him and His people.
-Mrs. Kishayne Ambersley, mother of three girls, Jamaica
Being broken by God is never easy. However thanks for challenging us to this, so that He can revive us and our ministries in order to more practically and effectively serve our children.
-Rev. Mark Lawrence, Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Caribbean Nazarene College (CNC), Trinidad
Broken for Service brings into perspective the reality that broken things are still valuable to God and can still be used by Him in as we serve His heart – Children. This book is exciting, exhilarating and refreshing….It points to one central truth: God loves and is willing to use broken servants even those with ‘multiple and severe disabilities.’
-Mrs. Chevonette Henry, Special Education Teacher, Jamaica
The devotional was very helpful for me as a future teacher. It helped me think through how I can be a better teacher in the future. It made me think about how serious it is that I do my work to the very best of my ability.
