About this ebook
Depression is serious problem for a high percentage of people with inattentive ADHD and can make inattentive ADHD symptoms much worse. Furthermore, adults with inattention ADHD often develop chronic low-grade depression as teenagers and this can lead to underachievement, social isolation, and major depression if left untreated.
Fortunately, the problems associated with inattentive ADHD can be managed much more easily if depression can be reduced or overcome.
ADD and The Blues: Specific Advice for Dealing with Inattentive ADHD and Depression is a concise eBooklet that describes how chronic and major depression can affect people with inattentive ADHD and how depression can worsen ADHD symptoms. It outlines some of the reasons why people with inattentive ADHD are more vulnerable to depression, and why they often develop depression as teenagers or young adults. It also describes a number of proven ways for dealing with depression and summarises the benefits and limitations of using medication and supplements to treat symptoms of depression and inattention.
