      Like so many journey of life we take, always accompanied by a team of people, creating this book was no exception. From the day we dreamt of owning a home, this book had already begun; we just didn’t know it. Every step we took in creating this garden was already a chapter in the making.

      I first knew that something magical was happening around me when I had the desire to capture these endless views of my garden. I then developed about a hundred pictures to make an album to share with my family during the coming winter holiday. The stack was already magically arranged in perfect order without me conscious of this.

      I pinched myself in acknowledging this awakening. For a minute there, I had to make sure there was still just only one of me. My life has been a bouquet of adventures. But this would not have being possible without the battalion of people who contributed to my journey.

      My sincere gratitude goes to my parents and grandparents, Emmanuel, Cecelia, and Ededeme, who are in heaven. They introduced me to the beauty of nature and gardening. Your spirits would always be with me.
