Spiritual Path to the Abundant Life
()
About this ebook
Why write a book about the spiritual path to life? Well when I read John 10:10 Jesus says. “The thief comes but to kill, steal and destroy, but I (Jesus) have come that thy may have life and that much more abundantly” so why isn’t every believer in Jesus Christ living the abundant life? Well when I ask that question, I thought of my mother the most wonderful mother a person could have. She raised seven children by herself, and all seven children are very successful, two obtaining doctorate degrees. My mother loved God but she held unforgiveness, bitterness, and resentment all of her life because of things that happen in her youth. So many believers I meet are suffering from the same problem of unforgiveness because they will not let go of the past, and they blame everyone else for their present situations in their lives. They have placed all of these negative influences in their lives and they shift the blame to other people so they do not have to face the truth. Other people are not your problem, no! The enemy you will find in this life is the person you see in the mirror. The problem your life is so miserable and unfulfilling is that you will not allow yourself to trust God and be responsible for your life. My friend admits it that you had a part of your failed relationships, that you chose to go to college or not to go to college. You chose your mate, and you chose the neighborhood that you live in.

you can’t it’s almost a cinch you won’t"
"If you think you will lose, you have lost, for out in the world you will find that success begins
with a fellows will, it’s all a state of mind!"
‘Think big and your deeds will grow, think small and you will fall behind, think that you can and
you will; it’s all a state mind!"
"If you think you are outclass you are, you have got to think high to rise, and you have got to be
sure of yourself, before you can win the prize!"
"Life’s battles don’t always go to the faster or stronger man, but sooner or later the man who

Matthew 4:18-19, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor."
1a. Spiritual templates/ spiritual terms –
Spiritual templates are spiritual patterns that we develop from emotional negative or positive life experiences. Children that receive love and nurturing from their parents may usually grow up with strong positive images and are most likely to have positive life experiences and be very successful in life. Children that have negative childhoods and critical parents usually deal with feelings of negative self-worth, and personal low self-esteem, these children also may have problems keeping good positive relationships. So we can say that spiritual templates are the foundations of life.
Spiritual Triggers-
Spiritual triggers are our feelings or emotions in each of us that respond to particular situations. For instance children that are raised in a house of domestic abuse, may react grow up fearful and nervous around loud situations or when they feel threaten. They may have overwhelming feelings to flee when confronted with confrontations.
Personal belief systems-
The Personal belief system is very important to every human, because our P.B.S is who we are! Our P.B.S is developed by our religious, spiritual, social, family beliefs that we integrate into our belief systems. If a person develops a strong self-image it is because that person withdrew the positive signals of life, and has internalized these positive signals as a part of the personality and character make-up. Much of our information we internalize is brought in through our conscious mind to our sub-conscious mind. We are going to learn how to remove bad signals and replace them with good positive feedback back into our P.B.S systems.
Spiritual Barriers-
When we are children our inner child is who we really are! Our inner child is that part of us that is loving, caring, and trusting towards our parents, families, and outsiders. A child brain is 80% developed by the time they are 4 years old, and that is why we have programs like head start today for children, so we can instill positive templates in our children that we give them a strong foundation for life. Children that are loved, nurtured, protected grow up with positive a positive inner child that accepts the external stimuli of the outside world, and they grow up with better health and stronger self-images of themselves. Children that are negative about themselves, often feel rejected, hurt or neglected, will place spiritual barriers around their inner child. Even big strong powerful men still may have that inner child that reacts to the outside stimuli of life.
Spiritual personal logic-
Every person has an inner view of personal logic and that SPC is how we internalize the outside stimuli we receive every day. What do this mean? Well think about yourself, when you are hearing people talk, preach, or teach you are actually receiving these verbal signals and you are
evaluating what do these words or images mean to you! For instance you are listening to a preacher
talk about the doctrine of tithing and how you will believe or not believe in the gift of tithing.
For instance for years I did not tithe because I logically in my mind justified myself that tithing was a requirement of the Old Testament and did not apply today! Well for years I struggled with my finances and maintain good credit. I struggle with even keeping money in my savings accounts, and no matter what I did I could not keep money in my pocket; because I justified not giving back to God what belongs to him. About 10 years ago I read that God loves a cheerful giver and how important giving money back into the kingdom of God, so I had a korus moment of the revelation of God’s word.
Yes tithing may be a doctrine of the Old Testament, but the doctrine of giving still applies toady even more so because the spirit of God is in me and tells me what to give. I and my wife gives more than 10% of our income to
