Visionary Leaders Wanted
Visionary Leaders are a rare breath of fresh air in today's organizations. Execution skills are a must; no doubt, yet when we look into our leadership bench we will find more of those who can execute and less of those who can envision a much more strategically advantageous and enriching future for the organization. Oftentimes, visionary leaders are not around at all. Fortunately, some leaders are naturally inclined to think strategically a number of years ahead and envision what the future looks like and then come back and describe it to the rest of the organization in vivid visual detail. Not only that but do it in a way that connects our history, our present and our future, inspires us to take bold action, shows us the way, and leads us confidently forward. Other leaders can definitely learn this skill and thrive.
