About this ebook

God was not seeking profit when He created man, He wanted to share His success with man! The essence of any entrepreneur is the success of what they create and how it is shared out. Facebook, Whatsapp and other social media thrive on the share handle or key. You can never be an entrepreneur if you are self centered and selfish! Just SHARE!
Many people view success in terms of money. Should a person who won a bet of one million dollars be considered as successful? Then the question of riches and wealth comes to the fore! If one wins a million dollars in a bet, that sounds like “to be rich,” that is rich enough to buy a few items of choice and to pay a few bills here and there . On the other hand, a wealthy person is rich but the opposite is false. A rich person is not necessarily wealthy just because they are rich!
But is money an item held by the government awaiting release to business people and employees? It is true that a few of the people in the world may view money in that perspective, yet nearly everyone wants to be part of it, part of the big deal, to own money which is a government guarantee for transactions of all sorts of business. To others, money seem to be only attainable to those who have academic excellence and qualifications. Yet, it is remarkable and at the same time very sad how many, especially the deprived people, ignore the obvious trends concerning money and its acquisition.
I have always seen money as a government legal tender which ends at the point where it guarantees the value of assets that the citizenry hold. The government has the power to strengthen or weaken the value of money thus affecting the purchasing power of its citizens. This is from a lay man’s point of view. Yet by the same powers, citizens can break free from poverty if they chose to!

Will Anthony, Jr

Will Anthony Jr. is currently the Chairman of the Uasin Gishu County Land Control Board which caters for over one million people. Before this stint, he worked in other capacities with the National government. He has also been lecturer in three religious institutions, a service to the youth to gather knowledge from the aging population. In his life time, Will Anthony Jr. says he has met a lot of people and can unflinchingly say that he loved most of them. Why most of them? Well, it is a tall order to love everyone you meet! Will Anthony Jr. has written several e-books touching on diverse subjects that relate to society. The books extensively cover human social and economic practices and this is so because expertise in one field in Africa can become a drudgery according to his practical view. His perception is that if you were born in Africa and the continent is your aboriginal home, you are likely to have English as your second language (ESL). Sometimes it could even be a third language. For him, he had to learn his mother tongue then learn both English and Swahili simultaneously. He went to his pre-primary bare foot, later he joined the local primary school 5 Km away and had to trek barefoot again not because his parents could not buy him shoes but because cobblers were a rare find. That journey was a daily toil of 10 Km, 5 days in a week or ~270 days yearly for 7 years. With a smirk he says that when you achieve a PhD in Africa, then You have done Plenty of hard Digging (PhD) or you have a Permanent head Damage (PhD) and you might end up in a ditch because your IQ cannot contain the booze like the local fellas!"Why did the English colonize Africa?" To keep the African languages in Czech (check), and he says that one must forgive this pun. But besides the pun, English has broken both social and economic barriers of the once "dark continent" whose forefathers slaved the white farms and firms to lace the pockets of their Lords.A PhD holder in Africa will still practice other 'trades' though they maybe 'very' learned because poverty is shameless, one has to draw bounds through plenty of smart work or else, it will be a shame to steal so as to maintain class. He published a book in 1992, but the publisher coned him , he took her to court and the case aged in judicial corridors for 12 years. He then made a decision to abandon the matter and to forget about writing books. However, Self publishing made him to change that decision. More than anything, He salutes Smashwords Inc. for the platform. In retrospect, He recalls a Dr. Alfred Sam, a friend of his from North America who was also a dean of studies in a local university, exposing his white ass in the university's auditorium to catch attention. The noise ceased as students and lecturers turned to look at the grown-up man on the podium doing the abominable. Well, the good Dr. in anthropology then simply pulled up his trousers buckled the belt and said, "Thank You, now I have your attention..."For the sake of simplicity, without much display of academia, Will Anthony Jr. is a writer in the global village market . For this, he Salutes all his readers and all lovers of written work. In a word of caution, he says that men and women alike must bear. In reference, there is an Ibo saying that every market place has it's mad people who will attempt to mar the business of the seemingly sane people. On the other hand, the English say everyone is mad, it's only the degree madness that is at variance. Salutes most profoundly!

    PREFACE

The tigers of Asia have proved that with commitment, the economy of a nation can be changed within a short period of time. What is needed are enterprising and patriotic minds!

We all know that the bottom of the ladder is crowded and everyone is thinking of how to climb up the ladder. Look around, millions are holding a sheaf of papers in their hands, they are looking for employment. Only the enterprising mind will walk out of this crowd and be given access to climb the ladder without question. Remember that success is not an option, it is a universal decree from the power of the cosmos. Are you that thinker?

Listen; a young indigenous African salesman in late 1950’s rented an office in one of the major four storied buildings in an African capital in the pre-colonial days. All the money he was making went to paying rent and other utilities for his rented space with a few shillings to spare. Then the time came for the landlords who were of French origin to return to their home country once the country attained independence. These landlords did not immediately sell off their property, instead they looked for a Manager, someone to manage the property, collect the rent and send it to them. Without thinking twice the young salesman seized the opportunity. He did not procrastinate with the imagination that probably he was unqualified for the prestigious post of manager. Regardless of whether he was qualified to take up the job or not, he knew he had an upper hand because of his previous cordial relations with the owners of the building. Without hesitation, he offered to be their manager. In the ensuing period between the offer to manage and the actual departure of the building owners, he was evaluated and eventually made the manager on a full time basis.

"Look for three things in a person, intelligence, energy and integrity. If they don’t have the last one, don’t bother about the other two." W. Buffet

Well, the salesman, now the manager, did not become complacent, it was not like he had reached cloud nine. He moved to the next plane of life and started viewing the opportunity as the breakthrough he so much needed, a money maker, a game changer, so he worked as though his life depended on it and a few years down the line, he purchased the building from his employers. Today, that young man is in his seventies and is luxuriantly wealthy. He shops around the globe, has sweet, sweet holidays. He looks back with a shiver and wonders how he managed living from hand to mouth in those early years of his life.

Thus, because of intelligence, energy and most of all, integrity, the ‘small’ opportunity turned his life around. Passion, with it, increase your dreams because you have untapped greatness in you. When going for your dreams, remember that GREATNESS is a choice you have to undertake, no one is born great, greatness is not your automatic destiny until you create that automation through habit. This rich grandfather says that it amazes him today to see a person die in mediocrity because of complacency not to up their goals in search of better. His motto is hunt with others, be in a company of same minded compatriots like the wild dogs, because many in turns will wear-off the prey!

Isn’t it a criminal catastrophe not to have dreams nor stars to reach to?

A CONCEPT, DREAM, ILLUSION OR REALITY?

"The heaviness of being successful has to be replaced with the lightness of being a beginner each day" Nescafe(K) Advert Quote

The greatest risk-venture ever undertaken was by God when He created man!

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." Ge:1:26.

God was not seeking profit when He created man, He wanted to share His success with man! The essence of any entrepreneur is the success of what they create and how it is shared out. Face-book other social media thrive on the share handle or button. You can never be an entrepreneur if you are self centered and selfish! Just SHARE!
