Following the death of the Dragon Lord and destruction of the Dragon Sword, the world falls into chaos as the survivors of the war with the dragonspawn struggle to rebuild. The people of Sevria, led by a group of unscrupulous mercenaries, revolt against Leia Omensent, the Princess of Dragons, forcing her to take her newborn little brother, Drayce, and go into hiding. But after nearly twelve years in exile, the truth of the boy's identity is finally revealed, forcing Drayce to confront his past, and put an end to what the mercenaries started so many years before.
