The definition of a Green Juice:
A green juice is typically a natural extract made from raw vegetables without any added artificial sugars. Generally it does not contain too many fruits or barely a minimum portion of it. Most frequently green juices are made from a combination of leafy greens such as: parsley, kale, spinach, cauliflower, sprouts, broccoli, cilantro, mint, green lettuce, red lettuce, celery, alfalfa, asparagus, basil, baby spinach, carrot tops, dandelion, beetroot leaves, romaine lettuce, Swiss chard, etc...
Some extras can be added to some green juice recipes if desired like zucchini, lemon, lime, fennel or jicama and other natural ingredients further described in this book. You can also add some mild sweet flavor to your healthy recipes by mixing some small amounts of fruits like green apples, kiwi, carrots, beets and others.
