    WELCOME TO JUMPSTART

    JumpStart is based on the BEEP Model (B—Bible Study, E—Eating Healthy, E—Exercise, and P—Prayer). My hope is that you will get into the habit of taking small steps every day to improve both your spiritual and physical health.

    JumpStart is a 2-week program, Monday to Friday, with the weekends off to catch up on any days missed, repeat challenges you like, or take the time to rest and relax.

    The format follows:

    B – Each day you’ll be provided with the same scripture verse but a different word will be missing. You’ll be challenged to memorize this scripture by the end of the week. If you want to take your Bible study a step further, a Go Deeper question is provided. You’ll also be encouraged with a daily devotional.

    E – You’ll receive an eating healthy challenge to encourage you to think about what you’re putting in your body.

    In addition, you’ll receive a new healthy soup, salad or smoothie recipe.

    E – You’ll be provided with a short cardiovascular challenge and every Tuesday and Thursday it’ll be paired with a simple stretch. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays it’ll be coupled with a simple strength training move to try.

    P – Lastly, you’ll receive a new way to model your prayer in a manner pleasing to God each day.

    WEEK 1 - MONDAY

    What better day to start a new health program than a Monday? Today begins the journey to create habits to improve your spiritual health through Bible study and prayer, and your physical health through eating healthy and exercise.

    B - BIBLE STUDY

    Read the verse below repeatedly over the day and commit to memorize it.

    I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being. (Ephesians 3:16)
