The truth is that I would like to dedicate this book to many people. There are so many who have helped me that I could fill pages and pages mentioning dozens of friends.
As there will be more volumes in the future, in this first book I have chosen to remember the most recent. These are the persons who have accompanied or encouraged me in countless races over the past few years.
To Luis Blanco of At Your Own Pace, a great runner and host of one of the most popular athletic programs in Spain.
To Raul Gil Perez, an excellent athlete, person, and one of the most brilliant speakers that one could find.
To Eduardo González Fontán, the Greyhound of Manoteras, a comrade during these past three years of countless races, fatigue, dreams and tears.
To the Reyes family, and especially Jesus, for their love and infinite affection almost from the first day we met in a race.
To Carlos Torres and his daughter Virginia, a great champion, for having always treated me with great affection and respect, and encouraging me as if I was part of their family.
To my daughter Maria, for those unforgettable moments we have spent together training. Every one of them has been a gift.
