Introduction
Bangkok a city of extremes. Gleaming temples and extravagant five-star hotels compete against exotic red-light districts and humble street stalls. Within hours of arriving in the most visited city in the world, you will realize why, there is action on every corner.
No matter your preference, be it luxury malls, backpacker scruffy stalls, romantic rooftop restaurants with exquisite cuisine, or humble but tasty local dishes, Bangkok and its famed Thai hospitality has it all.
This book gives you 20 must see attraction in Bangkok. From exquisitely decorated Buddhist temples, bustling markets, to relaxed evening meals while having a 360 panoramic view of the famed city and river.
Some of these attractions may not be included in a normal tour, but should not be missed, such as the Seashell museum with its 300kg clamshell, or the Pagoda where Royalty studied, including the current king, HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Disclaimer
The places selected are what I think is nice to see, and my thoughts only. They are not listed in rank, but alphabetically. Bangkok is massive, and you will need more than a few days to see it all. However, these places cover the major tourist areas, as well as a few smaller ones, and should keep you busy for three days of hectic sightseeing, and more if you take a more relaxed approach. I have tried to blend important, such as the Grand Palace, with new, such as shopping malls, with very old, and historical places, to a bit of local things such as a street mall.
I have no affiliation to any of these places, and do not represent them or any travel agency, nor do I speak for them or receive any compensation for recommending them. Pictures are what I took of the places, except where noted otherwise. I normally replace pictures when people are easily recognizable in a picture and cannot be edited or cropped out of my own pictures, as not to violate the rights of privacy of people.
The information such as dates built, renovated and who built a place, are as correct as could be found. In many places, wild discrepancies exist between sources, and I have chosen the most trustworthy in my eyes, normally local guides or the official web pages for an attraction.
Operating Times
The times given for places are what were sourced from the tourism board at the time of writing. However, attractions reserve the right to change operating time at will, without any notice. Do not arrive at an attraction minutes before closing and try to argue in staying longer.
When saying best time as Anytime for an attraction, then it is meant as anytime the attraction is open, and not that you can enter at 12pm
