    The bagels are bagels bread dough that are first boiled and then baked in the oven covered with various kinds of seeds or salt.

    Ingredients

    300 grams of flour 0

    150 ml of water

    1 tablespoon of brown sugar

    1 teaspoon of malt

    8 g of yeast

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 tablespoon of baking soda

    1 egg white

    Poppy seeds, sunflower seeds, pistachios, chopped

    How to Make Bagels

    In a large bowl place the flour, sugar and malt

    Dissolve the yeast in the water and pour it into the bowl

    Begin to work the dough, then add the salt and work until the dough is soft and smooth.

    Transfer the mixture into an oiled bowl and let rise covered with a towel for an hour

    Once risen, divide it into 8 parts of approximately 70 g each and roll into balls

    Place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and let rise for 30 minutes.

    With a floured finger, create a hole in the center of each ball and spread it gently with your hands to form a donut.

    Cook the bagels two or three at a time for about 1 minute in a pot with boiling water and baking soda.

    Drain with a slotted spoon and dry on a towel. Put now the bagels on the baking sheet and brush with egg white.

    Sprinkle with seeds of your choice. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about twenty minutes.

    Remove from the oven, let cool and serve.
