About this ebook
Patch watching is something you can turn to when you have had enough of long-distance chasing for birds. It is not a remedy but it is a very acceptable complimentary part of your birding life. Want to know all about it, then read 'My Patch' for some answers.
Mark Dennis
Mark Dennis is an English born birder who moved to Canada in 2003. He is now a Canadian citizen, mostly for the Maple Syrup discount but also so that he can wear a tuque legally. After leaving school, a succession of lousy jobs saw him eventually wash up as a warden at Colwick Country Park in Nottingham and he subsequently enjoyed 15 fun-filled years there. Mark now lives in Nova Scotia, birding daily and adjusting to hearing the sea lapping against the not-so-distant shore. Writing has always been a passion and wildlife writing even more so. Over time, more birding books will reveal even more about the largely unknown and often spicy world of birding.
