PATTERN 1
THEY HAVE A SOUND KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMER
The lifeline of every business or company lies in the heart of the customers. Some people say the customers are king and so, they tend to misbehave in the place of transaction. If we must believe this fact, nobody will ever produce a product or sell a thing to himself, friends or family member and still expects to be in business.
The mind through customers varies because they all possess different perception, loyalty, purchasing power, attitude, knowledge and desire or needs towards a product(s) or service(s).
It is difficult to please or satisfy a customer 100percent. Satisfaction is what every customer look for and when they find it, the tendency for future transaction and advertisement for the product or services will definitely exist. But to get this satisfaction of a customer, money, time and resources most be sacrificed.
We all patronize a particular product or services; therefore, we are all customers. Being a customer gives an opportunity on how to relate with other customers. So as a businessman, we are all involved in a relationship with our customers. It is this relationship that determines the strength of our customers and invariable the longevity of the business.
One of the secret to most successful businessmen is safe guarding the database of a customer for a longer year, rather than pursuing another. They also put the customers first before the competitors because they know that a customer can decide to visit a competitor at anytime. A customer can never be compared to money.
Successful companies or businessmen also know that all customers are not equal because they have different needs and wants, background and different motivations. For example, a customer with fifty million naira in a bank will never queue to collect his money, just like a ten thousand naira customer. And do not discourage your most valuable customers by treating them like everyone else.
Most importantly, they don’t forget employee loyalty. Employers of labour’s known’s that for them to satisfy and keep a customer or even build a relationship, their employee's welfare must be in place. A customer first interaction or impression into a company is the employee. A well trained, paid, motivated and well informed employee will want to retain every customer that walks into their business. Like we all know and as I have rightly said, that customers are the reason businesses exist. If you want to be successful on a brand, you must short your eyes and mind over customer’s complaint. But how truly can we achieve this?
Human beings are anti-change, wanting to live their life on the basis of the old tradition. Most people prefer to live the rest of their life on what they know, never minding the new order that saves time, money and energy. You cannot compare the first ever made car to the modern cars that we have now. There was a time we celebrated black and white television but now, nobody would like to present it as a gift. Before humans could have bought into the
