I loved the way the story unfolded. But I don't understand why the heroine didn't try to clear her name. Sad really that the main characters betrayed their siblings just to protect the heroine's sister.

Michelle Reid wrote one of my favourite romances and I guess I was expecting the same from this one. The plot was great but I felt there could have been messier emotions given the plot. A alright read nonetheless.

I don't think there's any writer on the Harlequin line up that writes romance as good as Ms Reid pens them, absolutely no one! The intensity of emotions, the fluidness and nuances of the characters...; I can go on and on... I don't know what has happened to this amazing author but I wish her well and also let her know how she's been greatly missed.

The Salvatore Marriage is about romanticizing abuse, plain and simple. It’s the kind of crappy romance that keeps women in bad marriages, hoping for signs, and internalizing the blame. It’s the kind of story that panders to defined gender roles, toxic masculinity, making a mockery of trust, consent, respect and makes a tormented, passionate hero of a frankly despicable, insecure, manipulative, macho-not-in-good-way man.

Disappointing that women write stuff like this, which can be so harmful to other women, ones who’ve lived this abuse.

This is about a tender, thoughtful and self-less love story. I am so happy that everything turned out well with PJ and Al finally staying together as a married couple! I particularly appreciated the author’s reveal of both PJ and Al’s thoughts and feelings. These instances in the book were like windows to each other’s souls. Sigh. The author is a romantic at heart through and through, just like me! Thank you
