Jennifer Linrud Sinsel teaches middle school science at Wichita Collegiate Middle School in Wichita, Kansas. She received a bachelor of science degree in earth science education and a master’s of science degree in space studies from the University of North Dakota. She is working on her second master’s degree in gifted education. She is involved with NASA’s Network of Educator Astronaut Teachers (NEAT) and was a 2004 finalist for the NASA Educator Astronaut Program. She is also the project coordinator for a science inquiry grant through Wichita State University, which helps improve content knowledge and provides inquiry-based lesson plans to new teachers. In her spare time, she skydives, reads science fiction, and spends time with her adventurous husband and their two daughters
