    This book has been written for you. I want to inspire, encouragement, enlighten, and bring life to you. My prayer is that you will find some real life points from this and that you will continue to believe in your God, yourself, and those who love you. Don’t ever lose faith or lose heart because you mean so much, not only to the people on earth, but to the people who have gone before you and live in heaven. Life can be very difficult sometimes and we often have to deal with things that totally throw us off balance and we find ourselves fighting through the storm, simply to stay alive. I wrote this book for you as a token of my love and appreciation for the gift that God gave us in being made in His image and likeness.

    This volume is not designed to awe you, but rather to point out some things that will actually help you to make good decisions and see things clearly in times of trouble in our generation. The world is changing so often that we need people that can speak a word of life into us and provide us with a sense of direction that will help us to accomplish things written in our destiny. I pray that you will be tremendously touched and changed by this and that you will use this book to remind others of the love of God that is available for them. Don’t ever give up and don’t let your family and friends give up. We all need you and you mean so much to so many.

      A Letter from Jimmy:

      This book has been written for you. I want to inspire, encouragement, enlighten, and bring life to you.       If You Can Fly, Flap Your Wings

      The reason why many of us don’t fly anymore is because we have spent so much time with chickens that we have lost our vision for flight. It doesn’t matter how much time you spend with a chicken, you will never be able to get it to fly; they weren’t made to fly. I’m not being divisive, or disruption, I’m just simply saying sometimes people hold you down, and unless they are willing to be re-born they will always be chickens. I’m not saying that everyone has to be an eagle because not everyone is created with the same gifts and talents; however, I’m saying that if God gave you the ability to fly, why not fly.

      Stop letting people hold you down and disrupt your flow with Christ, stop allowing people to hinder your progress. Fly. People that can fly know that they have been given a mission, they have been given a job, and they sense a call from heaven. Perhaps you are the intercessor that God raised up, but have been silenced by the voices of doubt, perhaps you are the soul-winner that has been discouraged by chickens in the church and perhaps you are the only one that can turn things around where you are. If you can fly, get up and start flapping your wings again.

      You may have been pushed, kicked, buried, and left for dead, but the devil made a fatal mistake, he didn’t finish you off. So many people worry about how they fly; they get concerned with how they look in flight, if people will believe if they can fly, but none of that matters. It doesn’t matter if you soar like an eagle, flap your wings like a pigeon, or have to kick and scream in the air for fear of heights, just fly. When you fly, you are above the dogs on the ground; when you fly you see things others can’t see; you experience things others will never experience, and you are close to God. I don’t care if you are near or far from where you should be right now, but if you can fly, why don’t you get up and do it.

      We are Blessed

      No matter what, you must know that you are a blessing. One thing is for sure, I have come to understand that there is a time and season for everything. Remember, no one can stop you as long as you are doing the will of God. When you are in the will of God, you are in the center of every blessing that God possesses for your life. You are blessed! You are saved! You do belong to God! Don’t ever let anyone tell you different, you must know and understand that you are saved by grace. In spite of your imperfections, in spite of your weaknesses, and in spite of your failures, you still belong to Jesus Christ and you will always be a part of His family as long as you come to Him with a repentant heart.

      Quite often, people can be hypocritical in their actions. They can live as sinful as they desire, but as soon as you make one error, they want to point the finger at you and say, You’re worthless; I knew there was nothing to you. Can I tell you, that’s not what God thinks about you, and that’s not what I think about you. God has taught me that His grace is sufficient enough to strengthen you and build you up; His grace is strong enough to help you. You have been blessed by God and you must remember that His sacrifice on the cross paid the penalty for your sins. The next time someone points the finger at you, remind them that there are many more fingers pointing at them, and one of those fingers belongs to God.

      You are somebody; don’t let anyone tell you different. Let your heart be filled with grace. Remember to devote your time to God. Spend time in God’s word daily and pray; He will remind you of how special you are to Him. When you are being attacked by vicious and mean people that accuse you, it becomes difficult to see how great you are in the eyes of God and so many others, but when you spend time with God, He will remind you. Get your daily time in with Him. I pray that God will inspire you through His Spirit to see the future that awaits you. I pray that He will give you a glimpse of the eternal life that belongs to you. Don’t panic when you mess up, don’t fret when things don’t go your way, and don’t give up when you fail. You belong to God and always will, you are His family and He loves you.

      True family sticks together, no exceptions. Likewise, when you are a child of God, He doesn’t disown you for faults or errors. You are blessed by God and His grace is sufficient to help you overcome every obstacle. True family will always wait for you, no matter how long it takes for you to return. True family will never allow anyone to separate them. True family will always receive you with joy and peace eternally. Let’s go to heaven together and be blessed.

      Enjoy Your Life

      Sometimes the better part of my day is spent meditating and thinking on the future. It gives me the opportunity to think outside the box and expect what is to come. Quite often we are too hasty to act and respond, without truly considering the whole matter and this leads to poor decision making and a life of trouble. Albert Einstein once stated that his genius did not stem from any extra abilities that he had more than any other human being, but rather from his ability to focus on a problem for extremely long periods of time and continue to chip away at it until he solved the whole matter. In our day, we don’t spend as much time thinking and meditating on good things as we should, instead we are constantly trying to perform and rise above the person next to us. Would you be surprised if I told you that it’s not how hard you work, but its how much thought you put into something that causes nuclear discoveries.

      As believers’ we often get drawn into the fast paced, high tech culture we are in, but sometimes it is more important to simply have peace and enjoy the beautiful world God has given us. Our lives are filled with quick meals such as fast food, TV dinners, and sodas because we are constantly being pressured to perform and get things done. It has become hard for a family to enjoy the well-prepared meals of old that included balance. Would you believe me if I told you we are being pressured? Pressured to perform, pressured to respond, and pressured to keep up with the next family? Why not say, NO! to the world and take your life back? Why not say, Yes! to the things that are good for you, even when the world tells you that you’re worthless.

      The key to a long life is simplicity. You don’t believe me? Take a look at the mortality rates of the world and you will find that the busiest nations are not the healthiest nations; the smartest and most technologically advanced nations do not necessarily enjoy as much peace and longevity. If you are finding yourself moving too quickly in the hustle and bustle of life, take a step back and look for the beauty in life. Keep your mind renewed through God’s word, keep your soul renewed through prayer, and keep your life renewed through being a blessing. Keep the most important people, the most important people; keep the most important thing, the most important thing. Stay blessed.
