A Note to All Who Hold the World by the Hand
When you hold the hand of your child in yours, you are holding the future of the world. For wrapped inside your child are the hopes and dreams of lifetimes to come. No matter that you sometimes don’t feel up to the task—God has placed within you a heart made for love and a soul created for caring. From generation to generation the seeds of creativity, possibility, and potential are passed through a mother’s hand to an expectant world.
In this little book, you will find simple directives, sweet stories, and eternal truths that will help you impart to your child the qualities that shape the world—qualities like confidence, faith, generosity, hope, laughter, and love.
Your touch, your embrace, your kiss—these are the instruments that define the world of your child. As you stoop to kiss and embrace to comfort and reach to help your child, you are kissing and comforting and helping the whole world.

Mothers are making a tremendous difference in countless little lives. We are changing the world, one kiss at a time.
