Positive Aspiration Recitations
Approach each day with enthusiasm and a positive mental attitude.
Read something new each and every day. This may be literature of any genre, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, biographies, auto-biographies, etc.
Learn ten new words each and every day.
Say something positive to someone today. Say something positive to someone daily.
Eat nutritious meals.
If you have clearance from your personal physician exercise five times weekly.
Expect good to happen.
Volunteer at a non-profit at least three times per year.
Keep a journal of your daily activities.
Take time out at the end of each day in order to review your accomplishments.

During my years of study, I found it very useful to write poetry, enjoy music, and to delve into visual art. This activates the right side of the brain which enhances the learning process centered in our left brains. Write a poem. Learn to read music. Purchase acrylics or water color paints and paint a picture.
If this isn’t something you feel you can do, you can always visit your local museum. Listen to classical music, jazz, or uplifting songs of any genre.
In short, get the right side of your brain activated. The left side of your brain will benefit and you will be more successful in your chosen endeavors.

POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS
Positive affirmations are an important aspect of building positive mental attitudes, and a positive aptitude. One of the key affirmations is the universal: every day in every way I am getting better and better. Most of us are only aware of the conscious part of our minds. However, our minds are made of the conscious, subconscious, and super-conscious mind components.
The subconscious mind controls most of what we believe, also the actions we take on a daily basis. Advertisers know that by placing auto-suggestions below the level of our conscious minds they are able to influence and often dictate trends in our purchasing behaviors.
For example, you have re-committed yourself to your exercise and diet program. You go to the gym and you have brought your vegetables with you, but you find yourself in a fast-food restaurant buying unhealthy food right after you have worked out, thus negating any calories you have burned. This is because you have not restructured your subconscious thoughts.
EXERCISE No 1. Go to the mirror in the comfort of your own home and say to yourself, I am present.
Next state your desired goal. State it as a fact of being in the present. What you desire already exists.
Our subconscious mind responds to the most dominant belief, and emotion we think and feel on a conscious level. It takes approximately thirty days to change a thought and a behavior. Thus be consistent and repeat the positive affirmation as many times as you are able each and every day. Also, write the affirmations out 10 times and read it daily.
POSITIVE THINKING:
Remember that positive thinking and positive actions are the same thing.
See yourself as already having achieved your desired goal in your minds eye.
Believe, conceive, and achieve.
CREATIVE VISUALIZATION:
One who consistently daydreams about the past is not in the present. This person will not be able to successfully transform their present condition by utilizing creative visualization.
Visualize in your mind’s eye as already having achieved the action. This thought held consistently in your mind will manifest itself in your reality. Remember that we are mind, body, and spirit. Strengthen your mind. Feed your spirit with scripture, exercise to maintain your body, and eat healthy, nutritious foods to supply the nutrients needed for overall health.
SHORT TERM GOALS:
Write down the things which you are going to accomplish within the next three months. These are your short-term goals. Write these down.
MID TERM GOALS:
The next thing to do is to write down your mid-term goals. These are things you wish to accomplish within 4 to 8 months.
