Introduction
John Steinbeck is considered as one of the most famous American writers. He is popularly known for his realistic and imaginative writings, combining as they do sympathetic humour and keen social perception.
His imaginative and creative mind often produced such beautiful lines that they remained in the minds of readers for very long time. He lived through the time while the world was going through very rapid changes. In his writings he illustrated almost all aspects of life.
Some of his lines have become very famous and popular quotes today. In this book we have included hundreds of his famous lines which will not only amuse and entertain, but also educate and impress the readers.

Maybe everybody in the whole damn world is scared of each other.
