Introduction

My name is Kelly and I wanted to give you a little background about myself to help you understand the impetus for this book. I have tried every different way of eating on the planet and worked out till I was a bucket of sweat on the floor. I cut out wheat, sugar and meat, counted calories, weighted my food, cut out alcohol and NOTHING made my weight budge more than a pound or two but it always bounced back even while I continued doing what had caused the weight loss in the first place. So frustrating! Then I was introduced to the HCG diet.

In one day, three of my clients came in and all of them had lost huge amounts of weight on this diet. I researched it and thought I had nothing to lose except money which I had lost before but quite possibly this would be the Holy Grail I desperately searched for. I bought the drops, followed the directions and found some recipes online to try. They were alright but being an avid cook, felt I could do better in two ways. First, flavor; second, preparation. Because the HCG diet is very portion specific all of the recipes I found were for single servings. They were for chicken patties, marinated chicken breasts, chili, sauces, dressings, etc.

Now, for someone who works from home, or a stay at home parent, this is an alright way to cook, but for the 99% of the rest of the population this type of single serving preparation is a sure plan for disaster. The foods allowed on the HCG diet are very specific and it is virtually impossible to buy what you need on the fly and the chance of eating incorrectly looms large. A tiny slip up while taking the HCG drops becomes a huge hurdle in the form of weight gain or a plateau you then need to break thereby losing days where you could have been losing instead of trying to lose.

The ‘grab and go’ HCG diet meal planning system takes the time, and guess work, out of your next meal. This make ahead system allows you to have multiple portions of food waiting in the freezer, or cut up in the refrigerator, for you to ‘grab and go’ to ensure you stay on track and see the results the HCG diet is intended
