You can raise thousands of dollars for your organization, and it’s possible to do it without costing you one single dime.
The statement above is absolutely true. I can’t guarantee that putting on this fundraiser will cost you absolutely nothing, but it’s certainly possible. I know this because I ran this fundraiser in the late winter of 2013. My group made $4,500 and it cost me just under $150 to put it on. Next year, we plan on making closer to $6,000 and having it cost us absolutely nothing. You could possibly make more than that.
But the real reason that this is The Best Fundraiser in America is that in addition to a tremendous profit margin, this event has the added benefit of creating a win-win-win for your community. Not only will your organization win (by generating a great deal of money), but it is a win for the citizens of your community, and also for the local businesses in your area. Win-Win-Win.

It’s a community cook-off. We invited local restaurants, along with a few civic organizations, school groups, and local businesses, to compete in a cook-off event that was held in our local school gymnasium.
