About this ebook
A very warm welcome to "The Essential Potty Training Guide". Being a mother of two children, I will never forget how frustrating it was to teach them how to use the toilet. I wish I'd had a strategy then.
This publication aims to bring you just the facts without the filler and to guide you through without making the same mistakes I did.
Note that in this case, patience is definitely a virtue!

Learning how to effectively control the bowels and the bladder is not only an important milestone, it is also a necessary social skill for a child. As with any basic skill or concept, training a child to take responsibility for their bowel movements and when they urinate will require patience and understanding. While it is true that most children have the ability to successfully regulate when they relieve themselves between the ages of eighteen months old and three years, you should avoid pressuring and pushing your child to accomplish this task before they are ready. If you pressure a child that lacks the physical and psychological development to use a toilet appropriately, you will consistently find yourself bombarded with a wide array of complications. Examples include resistance to use a toilet, accidents and even rebellion.
If you are reading this, you have either started the task of potty training your child, or you are
