    Deva’s marriage of convenience gives her access to courtly excess. The experience is not without its dangers as she loses one spouse and moves on to others.

    The men of our once proud Saxon family are embroiled with the princely band of royal brothers.Waldere and Hengist are set to crusade, Geffrey to guard their assets at home.

    King William the 2nd of England is content to allow his elder brother Robert to carry the Crusader banner while he consolidates his Norman gains. Prince Henry, the youngest balances one brother against another and covets more than his neighbors ’ox. Women if not a weakness are his passion.Deva if not quite the femme fatale may yield to his final demand.
    This battle of the sexes has winners and losers. it is the nature of the game.
