      Garden Faces

      The scent of sweet nectar fills up the air

      Brings pleasure to the senses, draws attention, see it there.

      The petals of soft flowers all expressing their joy

      As they open their faces and raise their arms to welcome, Ahoy!

      Soft granules of sand surround their bodies, the stems

      And ants are working hard to build their houses as gems

      The glistening of the sun bouncing off of their grains

      Causing sparkles to flash back, causes the eyes to strain

      The beautiful colors all somehow just blend

      Yet upon their distinction you can depend

      For each one has its’ own shape, own shade

      And begs
