About this ebook

Life is made up of choices. Many make the wrong financial choices; many make challenging health choices; education choices are often immature, social choices often limit oneself, environmental choices limit the air, water, and nature with which we live. All these choices can be changed each time we meet them, but there is one choice that must be made to define where we will spend our eternal life; "Have you submitted to the Lord of your spiritual life. Have you made the choice to accept or reject Him?" This book will help over the next 31 days to see what the Bible says about our position on choices. Read and apply!

    Choices

Surely you don't think I chose to be this way; it is just the way I am made! Have we ever heard this kind of argument? Of course we have! No one likes to admit to just being callous, unkind, or overly-sentimental. No one wants to be cruel to others or pets, but has to make excuses for their actions. What are all actions? They are simply acting out on their choices!

What was the single worst choice made by anyone? Was it Adam accepting the apple from Eve? Was it Eve accepting the argument of the serpent? Was it Sampson bragging to Delilah? Was it David sneaking a look at Bathsheba? Was it putting her husband Uriah at the front of the battle to be killed? Was it Pilate who refused to stand up to the priests? Was it Judas who acted out of jealousy against Jesus? These were all terrible and stupid choices, much like ones we make each day. But the worst choice of all time still resonates daily in our individual lives!

From a position of power, prestige, and promise Satan chose rebellion over obedience. Lucifer was beautiful, bright, and blessed, but he was also unsatisfied. He was not content being subordinate to God; he thought he had a better idea. Sin is not the sinful actions we take; they are simply reactions to the bad choices we make! Do you choose to do something even though you know your parents, pastor, and past experiences tell you not to do it?

For thirty days I challenge you to read these lessons and ask yourself, What is the message for me today? How can I relate decisions I have made and relate what actions those decisions have caused for me? I think we can all see that life, death, success, failure, happiness, and depression all depend on the choices we make on the way. After the thirty days study, I will give some suggestions on how to recognize, handle, make, and solve the resulting actions.

How about options? Have you ever considered how options actually make it near impossible to make a choice? The many options available to us today almost negate the need for a choice! Or, does it simply make one procrastinate and wait too long?

Speaking of choice, how does tolerance work with that? Do we simply use it as a means to avoid the one decision that must be made in life? Do we tolerate and then accept those who do not believe in Jesus and His laws? Do we simply love them and not get involved? Choices become harder and harder, but I trust using His word with the lessons from them will lead us to make a decision when necessary, a stand when needed, and still show His love in all we do. Enjoy!

Adam and Eve – Who told you that?

The story of Adam and Eve has been told over and over. Many denominations/faiths do not even believe in a Biblical Garden of Eden. The third chapter of Genesis tells the real story of what can happen to anyone with a wrong choice.

The subtle serpent walked over to Eve and asked the question that shows the way that God can be subjugated. He
