    A rush of cool air hit her in the face as she opened door. She was ready for the day to be over so she could finally relax. Every morning the alarm went off, she stretched and worked out, showered, dressed and sat in traffic for more than an hour to get to work. Then she was tied to her desk all day fixing her boss’ mistakes. The only consolation was that there was no traffic on the way home this late at night.

    Tearing at her clothes, she left a trail between the door and the bar. She knew her neighbors would be on their second or third drink, vegged out in front of their TV sets. What she craved most was a dip in the pool. The cool water could wash away all her tension and frustration. She stepped onto out into the night with a glass of wine and a towel. The glass shattered on the patio stones as a hand clamped over her mouth and a strong, muscled arm clutched her waist.

He played at local dances, clubs, and bars before he could drive. By twenty-one, he had performed for crowds of thousands, heard himself on the radio, and sang on live TV. His music has been used in advertising, film, television, theater, and played in concert halls. Records he worked on decorate the walls of his office and home.Nick began publishing ebooks in 2008 with Anonymous Publishing. While writing under the pen name, Nicky Faulkes, Nick’s work “The Time Of My Life” won the Earth Day Story Contest on Literotica.com and gained him the praise of peers. It encouraged him to keep writing and telling stories.Nick is a semi-retired composer and musician, happily married for over twenty years to a beautiful, loving woman who is the love of his life. Nick’s stories are a blend of his personal experiences and fantasies that merge to bring genuine, relatable characters and engaging tales to the page.
