About this ebook

In the challenging times which we live, many changes occur in our lives. In the enlightening book Enduring the Challenge: Promoting Change, Eddie Tate, Jr., teaches how to go through the changes properly. There are many things to consider such as patience, crucifying our flesh, understanding our own uniqueness and other steps Mr. Tate elaborates on.
We must trust God to help us reach our destiny as He leads us through the process of going through and getting to the other side of our changes. Though some of the things we go through seem impossible to endure, if we just stay where God wants us as long as He wants us to rather than coming out too soon, it will help us be ready for our next season as well as produce a great harvest. There will be warfare with the enemy, Satan, but if we stay in total obedience to God, we will come out on the other side understanding why God processes our lives step by step to bring us into our purpose and destiny. Let Mr. Tate walk you step by step through the process of enduring your challenges.

    INTRODUCTION

We live in very challenging times. Many of us are going through things that we do not understand. In this book I want to give you some insights on how to go through them properly. It is important that we deal wisely with these times, because they are opportunities that will escalate us to the next level. You must be careful that your mind is not overshadowed with the thoughts of just coming out. This is a great time that the Holy Spirit will use to minister tremendous revelation to you. This revelation will help prepare you for the oncoming season. One great thing I want you to know is that on the other side of through is a fruitful season which is a time of great harvest.

One reason why I was moved to write this book is because in the day which we live a great number of people do not understand process. Process is the steps that you will have to do before you experience success in a thing. I want to give you an example of process. One of the greatest examples is when a woman goes to get her hair relaxed. First, there are treatments that must be done to the outer edges of her scalp. Next, will be the relaxer and then it must sit for some minutes. After she has sat for the required minutes the relaxer is rinsed out. Now the hair must be shampooed to wash out all the residue of the relaxer. After shampooing, there is conditioning, and finally, the hair must be dried and styled. One thing I want you to understand about this whole matter is that the relaxer has potential to do what it says on the box, but if the proper steps or directions are not followed it will not produce the potential ability of the relaxer which is to relax or straighten the hair.

I used this illustration to show you the principle of process. God processes our lives step by step to bring us into our purpose and destinies. So, remember, when you are being challenged it is part of your process; so be patient.

    CHAPTER 1—PRINCIPLE OF PATIENCE

Scripture Reference: Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. (Romans 5:1–5)

Now the Scripture tells us tribulation worketh patience. In the day we live people do not like to deal with the word tribulation. It is not a bad word, but various traditional and religious teachings have given many believers the wrong information concerning this word. The word tribulation
