She cofounded Clouds in Water Zen Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she was the Guiding Teacher for nine years and is currently Senior Dharma Teacher Emeritus. An accomplished artist, Ragir dedicates her quilting and calligraphic work to the exploration of Zen.
