He attended trade school to study accounting, after finishing high school, and went on to work in restaurant management for several years. After buying his first personal computer, he developed an interest in programming, and returned to trade school to study it, before going to work in the computer field. While searching for nature information on the web, he came across a web chat room for naturists, and learned about naturism from chatting others in the room. Wishing to learn more, he searched for additional information, and discovered that naturism was not about the lewd things that most people believed. He found that there were local, national, and international organizations all over the world that were dedicated to the naturist lifestyle, and he joined a local club to experience first-hand what naturism was like. After several naturist volleyball events, he saw how comfortable it was to be clothes-free while simply playing the game in a gym with no air-conditioning. After several more activities, he decided to join a national organization as well, and applied for membership in both the Naturist Society and AANR.He ended up moving to Texas (USA) in 2004, and was able to visit “Hippy Hollow”, a legal clothing-optional location near Austin. He still liked to read, but wondered why there were so few naturist books available. He found books promoting naturism to be plentiful, story novels and books were scarce. A naturist themed story began forming in his mind, and he began putting his ideas into his personal computer. After the basic outline, he began the task of expanding it into a story by putting in the detail. He desired to create a story which presented naturism realistically, and one which he could share with others (especially the naturist community). After formatting the story into a book, he published it under the title "Mystery of The Vanishing Skinny-Dippers” in December of 2018. His second book in the Village Du-Nu mystery series, a sequel to his first book, was published in September of 2019 under the title “Mystery of The Grandfather Gone Missing”.Visit James’ personal website at: “https://www.GJamesQuandt.com”, and post your honest comments about his books, or view comments from other visitors.view less
