Leopold RemiSarr is currently a senior economist at the World Bank Group in Washington, DC, where he has been working in the area of human development, in particular in education and social protect...view moreLeopold RemiSarr is currently a senior economist at the World Bank Group in Washington, DC, where he has been working in the area of human development, in particular in education and social protection in South Asia (India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Afghanistan) and Africa for the past eight years. He has been working in the international development fi eld in the past fi fteen years, after earning two master’s degrees, respectively, in development economics and project management from the University of Clermont-Ferrand, France. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, he pursued his PhD in economics at Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York.
His passion for development is intertwined with his Christian faith, which is grounded on the Word of God. He is a member of Mclean Bible Church in Washington, DC, where he serves in the Creative Arts Ministry. He is passionate about youth outreach, medias, and prosperity in Africa. He is currently running a weekly Bible study focused on prophetic books in the Bible and is working on his second book on the actuality of prophecies in Scripture.view less
