Having studied law at Cambridge, Adam spent time working as a teacher in Lesotho, Southern Africa before returning to practice corporate law in London. Following diagnosis of a grade 4 glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) brain tumour in 2014, Adam wrote his first book, Pear Shaped. Adam continues to live in London with his wife and three children and remains working as a corporate lawyer.
