    Laurie Faria Stolarz (Massachusetts) has a great interest in teen culture, and admires young adults for their passion, energy, and creativity. Blue is for Nightmares is the product of her desire to write a novel that would have appealed to herself at that age, namely one that has a blending of suspense, romance, and the art of keeping secrets. Stolarz has an MFA in Creative Writing with a concentration in Young Adult Literature from Emerson College in Boston. She currently teaches writing and is a member of the SCBWI as well as several professional writing groups.

      I know this series is for the young, but this 62-year-old is young at heart and thus far I have enjoyed the series as my driving entertainment. YA books keep me going on long 12-20 hour-long drives.

      Good story. Good narration. Characters were realistic. Look forward to the next book.

      I enjoyed the story, I feel like the voice really brought the story alive. She was right on point with story.

      Hmmmm...second book in the series and more or less a copy of the plot from the first. Enjoyed the first book, but this one was a same old, same old version and left me very disappointed. Not sure if I’ll bother with any more in this series.
