As Jamie Danby, she's lived the past ten years looking over her shoulder. She doesn't remember much of that night, but Texas Ranger Kellen Harding hopes to change that through forensic hypnosis. He's determined to close the cold case once and for all. He's also determined to keep Jamie safe for reasons that go above and beyond the job.

- (1/5)This is bodice ripping drivel.
I feel that it’s wrong to judge a book that I didn’t finish. I should not have bothered with this one.
Spoiler alert: There are a bunch of sex scenes with a few half baked plot scenes. Mostly they eat and screw. Now you know the whole story. - (5/5)Great story I couldn’t put it down. So glad you live in Texas I live in Arlington Texas.
- (5/5)Love the story. A mix of suspense and romance. Also loved the narrator. Keep up the good work.
- (5/5)I really enjoyed the story line , I was kept interested and on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what would happen next , I hated when I had to stop listening to do other things and looked forward to getting back to listening to the book . I will definitely be listening to more of your books , thank you for keeping me wanting to listen to your book , I didn't want to stop .
- (2/5)Had the bones of what could have been a good story, but it just turned into sec scene after sex scene
- (3/5)Didn't love it as it was very formulaic and mostly just soft porn. No character development, no surprises. I can see this story appealing to pre-teen girls looking for sex tips
- (4/5)Ten years after her coworkers were murdered, Jamie finds herself the target of the murderer. For all that time she thought she had no memory of the murders, but hypnosis shows her she did see something important. A very good plot with some suspense and a bit of steamy romance between her and the Texas Ranger who promises to keep her safe and find the killer.
- (2/5)This could have been a really great romance:/crime novel. For me there were two faults. The plot was underdeveloped and the romance was actually too graphically sexual. It’s much more romantic to allude to sex than to give the reader a play by play.
- (4/5)This was a good book. First time reading/listening to anything by Alison Kent but won’t be my last.
- (1/5)It was incorrectly categorized. This was an erotica, not a romance.
- (4/5)Book was great...wish she would of finished the story with more of the details from after the arrest and what happened with the Tech..one more chapter to wrap it all up!
- (3/5)3.5 Stars for me.
I did remove a star due to the excessive use of angst throughout the story. Cut it by 50% and this is a 4.5 star read for me. - (4/5)It was a good read. First from this particular author.
- (5/5)I really enjoyed this book and love the work that you do!!!!
- (5/5)The story was engaging and it kept you guessing. The
