That book reads like it was written by a white woman who has a “live laugh love and f*ck everyone who tells you not to” sign on her minimalistic manhattan apartment.

It waters down and whitewashes rich cultures, rips them out of their context and still has the nerve to describe some of it as "blah blah blah." If you're not a spiritual person, that's fine, but why promote it in your book? It throws in Reiki and the Chakra system, for example, makes fun of them, and then has you do an exercise based on them with no real foundation. The opposite of mindfulness. Devoid of cultural awareness, disrespectful of the history of these practices, and is then profiting from them.

To me this was a very average listen. I enjoyed the light hearted nature as I believe we need to remember sometimes that things are not not as bad as we make them out to be.... (and I say that while having really bad anxiety) But it was tricky sometimes to follow along, I did however learn some new tricks to try. So I guess it depends what you want from this book.
