    So well done. Loved the story. So refreshing to not have to FF through 10 min descriptions of people having sex! Thank you also for respecting the life of the unborn! Indeed they are a completely separate person from the mother. “Not a clump of cells or mass of fat.”
    Thank you for interesting, moral storytelling! I will listen to more!!!

    Mixed feelings on this one. Kitty’s story, the landscape and the history of the famine were all quite interesting. Modern day Maria’s story was ‘ok’ but nothing special.
    Narration was ok but verged on speed reading.. I put most of the book on .8 (a bit too slow but unfortunately Scribd doesn’t offer .9).
    Doubtful I’d ever read or listen to either the author or the narrator again.
